It looks like an original to me then, with the original eproms covered up. Good news :D

I'm trying to dig up a photo "thechop" sent me of his R-Type before he sold it - because for some reason I remember it having less eproms, but may be wrong.

looks like maybe the eeproms have RT on the old stickers but it's hard to tell because most are (suspiciously?) damaged in that area. and the pic's a bit pixely.... ?

Could have been an R-Type that was converted to something else and then back...

You can deffo see "RT" on the top four as they're undamaged.

If you know that it is an original set, why did you post the pictures?

This thread is for people to post photos of their pcbs in order to gain opinions on whether they are bootlegs or not. I was giving you my opinion that your boards are original.

Use this thread to post pictures of original PCB's for future reference, and pictures of bootlegs to avoid - or if you are unsure if a game is bootleg or not, post a picture and hopefully a fellow forum member will be able to advise.

Label Clearly so people can see which is which.

Hopefully this might grow into a useful resource for anyone that needs to check a PCB in their ownership, or one they are considering buying.
To be fair, the original intention of this thread was to post photos of original and boot boards so I don't think PaTrYcK did anything wrong, maybe he could just edit his post to show they are photos of original boards. :)

My bad, I wasn't meaning to have a go at him. It's been so long since anyone posted here without it being intended as a "is this a boot?" post, that I didn't even realise the concise intention of the thread and got the wrong end of the stick.

I received this today, I'm pretty sure its a Bootleg version of Capcom's King of Dragons. From what I've seen on the internet King of Dragons is a CPS1 game and should be a normal 3 level PCB ( ? )

The version I have is a largish single level PCB with silver, old solder coloured Jamma connector and no Capcom branding on the board. I haven't played it yet, I'm hoping it plays the same as the original I played as a teenage. Which I'm only assuming was original in the cab I played as I knew nothing about the actual hardware back then :shifty:

Original...you can see it on the round corners of the sticker and also on the chips marked with SEGA!

Original - rounded sticker corners, Sega printed on the PCB, double sided PCB, and i'm pretty sure they haven't bootlegged this game.

Thanks, just very hard to find anything about it in the .net to compare it with.

I'll wait a day or so then list it in the sales section, looks like a rare title ?
