I see that what I suggested was totally misunderstood by some people. No worries, I get that a lot. :awe:

My JAMMA connector is a bit tight, and I take great care when attaching it to my PCBs or J-Pacs. As I do, I tend to first of all make sure that the connector is placed correctly, then I gently push using my thumbs against the sides sticking out (where the screw holes are). If I had a casing on the connector, I could do it using only one hand, and with the same amount of care. I never pull at the cords etc, or have the slightest problem with it (except for some boards, Flying Shark), but at least for me IT WOULD MAKE GAME SWITCHING EASIER. :|

Totally understood (repeat):

...if you were to develop a "quick release" style edge connector that opened & closed on the PCB as to avoid wear and tear, that managed to maintain a reliable connection and couldn't accidentally clamp down on the wrong edge connection, I'd be singing it's praises...

Seriously, I would!

I see this thread is a bit old, but the connectors pictured above seem like they would work good for switching games frequently. I was hoping to find these:

I am also wondering if anyone knows of a good 2 in 1 jamma splitter or a way to have more than 1 pcb in a cabinet. I have tried one and the video signal seems a bit lacking. Almost right on, but the sharpness is lost a tad and the blacks and whites are not as contrasting as before even with correct power at both boards. I have seen pictures of a 4 in 1 called the Foreplay by Free Enterprise Games, but I can't find one for sale. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thank you

They didn't back when I created the thread. I got some from them, but they only fit the thinner JAMMA connectors from China.
