that will work,
when you come to INSERT COIN 09 i will show you how to do this in 2 seconds and never be afraid again--i have to discharge monitors 3 meters up a ladder

you don not need the glove btw,but if it makes you feel better then what the hell

connect the croc clip to the dag earth braid and thus any charge will discharge across the tube,be careful when inserting the screwdriver tip as to not damage the insulation paint around the anode

i will bet you 20 cents that you will hear nothing :lol:

As someone else who is scared stiff of going near a monitor, can you just explain in the simplest detail what that bit is please?

I guess it is best to be too worried/careful than all reckless about it...

Would not have a soldered connection between the screwdriver and the cable been a little bit more secure in terms of electric charge flow? :awe:

Personaly id say your block thats linking the lead to the screw driver shaft is far far too close to the handle.. belive me 25kv will jump that gap! :D
