Its fricking huge. Its easily the biggest thing I have. I just hope I can get it in my cabs once its mounted in some MDF
I think I had better mount it in a MDF sandwich to protect it.

Cheers duder
The pinout for the EMI board connectors are in the schematics on the last two pages of [the manual].
The connectors that are wired to the JAMMA edge are obv wired to the [JAMMA standard]
If you have one to wire up and need any help then just let me know

Re: Wiring Point Blank to JAMMA?
You are having problems with the test switch because the game expects an on/off switch and you are using a momentary one

Cheers guys, I have this sussed now but I didn't update the thread. I remembered seeing the switch on the test panel when looking at the schematics but I forgot about it when wiring up.Pete wrote:Hewitson wrote:You are having problems with the test switch because the game expects an on/off switch and you are using a momentary one

The easiest thing to do will just be to add a latching switch in over test/GND on that JAMMA edge connector I wired up.

Did you get your point blank 2 working, can they use the same filter board.
By any chance do you have any spare connectors, I picked up a PB2 and I'm gonna try replicate your work

I bought a PB2 before this, its working yes.purplec wrote:Did you get your point blank 2 working, can they use the same filter board.

I've been told the filterboards are the same for PB1-3.
Looking at the schematics (from what I downloaded) the PB 1 and 2 schematics are the same which doesn't make sense as the hardware/headers are completely different.
I'm just going to wire my PB2 to suit the PB1 loom.
In regards to connectors I don't have any spare no. Namco have spares though, I listed all the part numbers in this thread.
They don't have any more IDC crimps though so you will have to try and find some more or use IDE cable and housings. I have some of the housings off ebay that I will most likely not use now if you want them.

Re: Wiring Point Blank to JAMMA?
Hi FrancoB,
Do you happen to have a photo that shows how the Position PCB board connects to the EMI board?
I bought a PB1 cabinet (my first ever foray into this world) and I am trying to get the recoil on the guns working (they are Recoil SF-X replacement guns).
Trouble is, whoever had the cabinet before me, managed to get it just abut working without many components, the EMI board is simply not there! The guns connect into the Position PCB directly, but the solenoid wires are not connected. The 6 and 12 pin connectors on the Position PCB have nothing connected to them either. It so hard to work out what is going on.
I have burned so many hours trying to figure out, if I can get the solenoids working without a EMI board - and I stumbled on this thread from many years ago - seems like you really know how this stuff hangs together!
Any help would be hugely, massively appreciated,
A picture of the setup is here (for some reason I get errors about image dimensions
