that lindy is horrifying :/

I'll probably get some shaft covers at some point. Black I reckon since I don't think they make white... or some properly fitting clear dust washers.

There's a decent chance the powder coaters will be delivering the bits back to me later on today too!

Wow. Was the powder coating expensive? Did you need to prep them before sending?

£370 total.

That included collection and delivery, sand blasting and powder coating. It would have been less if it had been just two colours but I had to get one set of legs done in silver. Rechroming was prohibitively expensive. The other set were OK. A bit scuffed up etc but not too bad. I prefer to keep things original so left them. Unfortunately there was no alternative but to repaint these cabs or I'd have left them. I don't mind the odd ding or scratch at all but these were pretty wrecked.

These are the seller's pics. If they'd prefer me not to share them like this I'd be happy to take them down

Also, I restored an Aero Table too last year, really easy cab to take apart and clean and get at all the parts etc and look perfect cabs when finished. Shame its was my dream cab until I actually played on it and it hurt my back in like 5 mins play! :( So had to sell. Great looker though :)

cant find any pics of it 100% completed but you get the idea...

when I got it.

I read your thread thoroughly before I started :)

The blue these came back as is a bit brighter than the original. I did say that vauxhall regatta blue was a match and linked them to an info file on it but it's not a particularly awesome match. It is a lovely colour though and I think they look very spiffy. :awe:

Your old one is a beauty. There are a few issues to sort out still with these just as shells before I get the wiring etc in them. Hopefully that'll happen next weekend :awe:

Massive thanks to Ralph, Franco and Richy. Ralph in particular spent ages checking wiring and stuff for me. And he donated the mint aero mug that's on there acting as a coin receptacle :awe:

I'll put a bit more info up on the blog in a bit.

Had it ages. Bought it semi dead for £3, got it fixed around christmas but haven't had a yoko 15k cab since then :awe:

I don't really get what's going on with the items and stuff. Only had about 3 credits, will see how I get on.
