None of the cave video's posted in that thread show anything with the emulator running prior to the game booting. At least none of the one's I watched did.

Since Luca demonstrated the protection was trivial, and since he had a CPU core knocking around it's hardly surprising and people would be foolish to cry 'fake'.

There's some pretty amazing shizzle goin on with demul at the mo...the next version could be very special indeed with the inclusion of model3, however that may get bumped to a dedicated emu.....supermodel rises from the ashes!!
For gods sake, its a carton box - not the holy grail!

That explains it, tbh none of these is as big a deal as Ketsui was IMO

Agreed PCB > Emulator.
But it would take awhile and a lot of cash to grab any cave board you want. I just wish that the emulation of such boards will drive down the price of said boards to the 200-500 price range.
