Right at the start of that clip/video, I love how those two badass dudes are chilling having a smoke,
one of em's even got his legs crossed like he's in some sort of cafe! Quality stuff.

Is there no love for Double Dragon?
Not that I was any good at it, but it's certainly earned the accolade of "classic".
Cheers,
Ralph.

I'll second that. If it wasn't for games like DD I wouldn't be the middle-aged waster I am today.

I am going to get this one if I can find it.
I played this briefly at neorichie's when I picked up my AWSD cab and it is just too cool!

No mention of X-Men, which is another great beat'em up. Some other favs TMNT, Simpsons, Capt America, burning fight, sengoku 2.

Keep to CPS1/2. There's a lot of good stuff there.

God no... It sounds great at first but after beating it once you'll never want to do that again.
Knights Of Valour : The Seven Spirits is a better recommendation for the atomiswave.

Not your typical beat 'em up, as you can grab / buy items ( fire bombs, arrows, etc ) , and assign them to a button during play. The amount of different ways to strike is amazing, and you can block too. Probably the most in complex beat 'em up games I ever played.

This one is very cool, amazing graphics back in the days. There are tons of cool stuff weapons. For example, you can grab a stone column and use it as a bat. As you beat the sh*t out of enemies with it, it gradually breaks apart, eventually leaving you with a piece you can throw at someone.

Played quite a bit of Taito Growl the last couple of days, great game imo.
