All sorted now thanks to andy, although I am on the lookout for the coin mech loom (to go from coin mech to plug coming out of 60 pin header)...penrhos wrote:which jvs looms do you need - I'm having a clearout and may have what you need.
I think thats an optical illusion created by the mish-mash of buttons I've got on there right now. The panel wasn't created by me, so theres not a lot I can do about it anyway, but it looks like the standard curved Japanese 1p layout on the panel.gargoyle67 wrote:Nice job, But is your button spacing meant to be different with the first two buttons to the other 4 ? I.E the last 4 action buttons are closer together
When I was thinking of doing them, I was going to get NET CITY MINI artwork done, same sort of colours etc as Net City.. would have looked nice..Spectre wrote:Yeah, not sure what yet though... was thinking about a sheet of white sticky backed plastic for now, until I get something designed.
I liked the cartoon clip overlay someone seemed to have on one of the units purchased from you Andy. Not sure whether that was something you supplied as custom or whether they attached after they bought it?andygeezer wrote:When I was thinking of doing them, I was going to get NET CITY MINI artwork done, same sort of colours etc as Net City.. would have looked nice..Spectre wrote:Yeah, not sure what yet though... was thinking about a sheet of white sticky backed plastic for now, until I get something designed.
Marvel Superheroes overlay bought from Happ in 1998.. which I had sitting around for that long..Parris wrote:I liked the cartoon clip overlay someone seemed to have on one of the units purchased from you Andy. It was the mutts and really suited the cab. Typical that it's something that old and probably totally defunct, so yay for Sean!andygeezer wrote: Marvel Superheroes overlay bought from Happ in 1998.. which I had sitting around for that long..
Yeah i like that too.
Or you could just plug your consoles into your big telly and use an arcade stick, thus saving yourself the effort of converting a hideous bookies cab into a hideous custom job...j69 wrote:This thread has insipired me to make a 360/DC cab out of an old bookies machine
If i got it on Xbox I'd play it on my telly. If I had the PCB I'd play it in a proper dedicated Jamma cab. I wouldn't however play the Xbox on a converted bookies cab.j69 wrote:You could say that about any cab! Why buy a cave pcb when you can get a Japanese xbox?
