If anyone has a decently prices Naomi GD-ROM, let me know.
Previously had 3 Astrocity machines (since sold) and about 120 or so PCBs (all gone ). Sold up when i moved home and had kid on way.
Now, probably stupidly, i've bought a supergun and started back up :/ Massively regret selling up, but since a lot of space was cleared out and a supergun is a lot easier to store, it's ON!

Ok I'll play the game, only because my collection post-cab is vaguely non-sprawling. Hey look folks, I'm a lunatic that only collects arcade games which come in cartridge or board-cased-in-plastic format. I also put everything in silly plastic or cardboard boxes, with custom artwork and crap. All my CPS2 boards are in boxes with spine labels, all my MVS carts are in shockboxes, all my STV carts are in modified SMD EA cases and the HNG64 games are kits.

Marvel Super Heroes
Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha

i've just come from arcade/sprawling and now have supergun/smaller and have been thinking of getting boxes and custom cases for everything simply as it stops having masses of bubble wrap sticking out from shelving etc

Do it, adds an extra dimension to the collecting part of the hobby, especially for those of us who don't have nice candy cabs to look at!
I keep detailed spreadsheets on all of my games, including details such as:
Game Name
Manufacturer
Conversion class (also what adapters I have, how much they were and who I bought them from)
Extras (original manual etc.)
Cost (converted into sterling, I keep the price in the original currency in a comment)
Postage cost
Sold for (how much I sold it for, if sold)
Working (if not, why not)
Release Year
Orientation (if vertical, can the orientation be changed by dip switch; if not, which way to turn the monitor)
% (the cost of each game as a percentage of total spending)
Date of purchase
Supergun (whether it works on my old supergun, which didn't supply -5V)
Sound (Mono/Stereo)
Monitor Frequency
Control (2/4/8 way joystick etc.)
Screen Resolution
Game ID (e.g. Sega security chip IDs etc.)
On a separate spreadsheet I keep just a list of the games by manufacturer, one sheet in English, one in Japanese, another sorted by purchase location/source and another sorted by screen orientation.
I've also got detailed tables on how many games I bought each month, how much I spent each month, the average spending per month, etc. I've also made up a graph showing how many games I have from each of the last thirty years, and a table detailing purchases in yen and the exchange rate on the day I made the purchase.
And then there's my spreadsheets of all purchases I've made on ebay and Yahoo Auctions, with separate sheets listing purchases in alphabetical order, price order, etc. etc. This all keeps me somewhat busy.
