Easiest way to take apart my astro???

Post by Mr. H »

New house, smaller doorways. Now my cab is empty of SO MUCH STUFF, lol...complete model 2 gun setup and monitor. Anyways, what is the easiest way to get this thing into a couple of pieces so I can get it into my new game room? The least amount of taking more stuff apart :)

Here's where I am now:

Undo all the scews down the back and the cp section will pull away. Good luck with this bit, a load of my screw heads stripped and I spent literally hours drilling the bloody things out, so for the love of god use the right sized screwdriver!

You were right about the screws, lol...I got them all out but one and yeah, they were all SUPER tight. No way I could have gotten them out with a regular screw driver. I used my power drill and a screw driver bit, lol. Super slow touch and pushing in pretty damn hard, they mostly came out well. I can see how easy they would strip though. Nice fat driver bit too. On the monitor frame screws I had to use a different bit, but they came out too. If I had to drill them all out I would have cried,
