Hello,
since my Blast City cabinet has problems with the usual jamma VIDEO signal cables, I will try to also conect my 15khz games via VGA cable.
There is one question about the pinout:
The jamma has 5 pins: R, G, B, V-Ground, Video-SYNC.
But VGA cable has 2 SYINC pins: Vertical-Sync and Horizontal-Sync.
So, how shall I conect the one Jamma VIDEO-SYNC?
Shall I slit the Jamma V-SYNC on both, the Vertikal and Horinzontal SYNC? or shall I use only one of them, if yes which?
Thank you
Zakomon

Re: Jamma to VGA pinout
Most people say to connect them together.
In one of my chassis, i had a few problems with specific PCB's that only work with one of those cables connected at a time. So i decided to connect both wires to a switch and then to the vga port, this way i can choose between wich sync i want and everything works fine.

Re: Jamma to VGA pinout
Thank you for your reply. Are you talking about games/hardware that run in 15khz (for example: MVS, CPS2 etc) connected to the VGA (15-pin DSUB) connector of a Blast City?

It works with ANY 15khz system connected to a DB15 chassis's plug.

I have a handy little image for this (I use these sort of breakout adapters to capture JAMMA video for streaming/recording):
