Hi Guys,
I recently had my cabinet painted and now it's time to put it all back together. When I originally disassembled the cabinet, I carefully removed the speaker grills and noticed that they had what looked like a tiny amount of some sort of adhesive. So I thought I would try a dab of glue from my hot glue gun on the speaker grill edges, but that failed to stick to the cabinet properly. Has anyone else had to re-install their Blast City speaker grills? If so, what did you use to secure them properly?
Thanks in advance!

I had/have the same issue with my blast. They are a bitch to fix. I used a hot glue gun like you, ain't perfect. I think Sega used cloth tape originally.

Heavy duty double sided red tape. This stuff is *strong*.

I actually found this http://www.bunnings.com.au/tarzan-s-gri ... e_p1210342 in the local hardware store, which looks like the same sort of tape, even down to the colour.stellarola wrote:Heavy duty double sided red tape. This stuff is *strong*.

I did find another thread on here where someone used a polyurethane glue / sealant and I purchased a tube of it in colour black. I now need to decide on whether to use the double sided tape or the polyurethane glue / sealant. Hmmm.
