Anyone stroking themselves over the PS4 launch announcement?

Congratulations! Pang, would you try if there's 640x480 tate support?

I have read PS4 is capable of outputting 640x480p through HDMI... I would like to know if it should be proper for installing in a cab

There are loads of tate options so yes, if you can get the hardware to do its thing you should be fine.

As always with ports, the M2 badge is a seal of quality. It's got all the options you could need and Manabu Namiki's new mix is lovely.

Thanks for your reply Pang!

spmbx, this weekend I will try if 640x480 is possible on a PS4. I have read somewhere it was doable.
It shouldn't be difficult to convert the signal from HDMI to VGA with a converter or adapter

I was on the last step of setting up my JP PSN account and then it went into 'currently performing maintenance" bullcrap and I had to stop. I'll try it again tonight after work, blarg.
Maybe it's that the PS4 gods were upset with me for considering playing something besides Let it Die. :problem:

Finished The Last Guardian. The sort of charming and artistic storytelling that could only have come from Japan. It's hard to deny that the game is broken as **** though.

I've just met a second flying goatdog. At times it feels like
you are battling with the controls :problem:

I'm going to see it through as I am enjoying it

Anyone playing Horizon ZD? Any good? It comes with the PS4 Pro I just ordered but I'm not sure I can tear myself away from Zelda.

Don't worry, HZD is a great game, it will definitely keep you entertained after you are done with Zelda. Graphically it will look 2 gens apart. (not bashing botw, it's gameplay is pure gold)

I'll probably pick it up when it's down to £20, it was the main reason I bought a Pro.

There have been some good deals. I jumped at Easter when Argos were doing 10% off everything.

I almost buckled when they were doing the slim with HZD and a controller for £200, but no pro yo.

Does anybody know which online shops in the UK offer Wipeout in the psone case?

I know of base.com and shopto which both require credit cart information i do not have and 365games ships to every country on this planet except germany.

Are there any other?

Edit: the quest is over. i have succesfully preordered the game

Wasted £35 on the Crash **** collection. It looks absolutely stunning but they're still the same run of the mill 2D platformers in disguise they always were. No better than the likes of Pandemonium. Never did understand why Playstation fans loved them.

I never understood why people liked Crash **** either. I played the first game when it came out but never felt compelled to play any of the others.

I read that they wanted to normalise ****'s control over all the games, but you end up playing levels that were designed for Crash 1's jump physics with Crash 3's jump physics. I can't imagine why they thought that'd be a good idea. If you buy a collection of games, you want to experience each game as it was supposed to be. Worked fine with Mario Allstars. Sigh, I love Nintendo. :whoopsie:

Dunno why I care, I agree with spazbmx - Crash was okay at it's peak (1st game - when it was the closest thing to a Mario alternative that the PS1 had). He makes Rare characters look loveable.
