So I was thinking of emulating snes and megadrive for in the gamesroom when it's done. I was thinking of using a dingoo in a tv, but you never know if someone wants to play streets of rage with you! So was thinking of something around the same price of the dingoo that can use pads? Doesn't have to be portable, was just thinking of the dingoo as it's cheap!
I know about the snes one the snes powerpak not sure what the megadrive one is. But these are quite pricey. The powerpak is about £100? I wonder if it would work on my retro duo thanks for the help guys. Can i ask what the megadrive one is
I believe it will. The Powerpak is a one man effort but is cheaper then the chinese(?) effort that has less features/support. It's not cheap, but it's not unreasonable either, you can buy a ToToTek cart cheaper, but that has too many issues and is inferior in every way.
The Mega Drive one is cheaper, but then it's a simpler device. The Snes is convoluted in many ways and requires support for custom chips (and even only a few chips are supported because the Snes is a ****), the MD doesn't have that trouble as only one game uses a custom chip, and thats Virtua Racing.
http://krikzz.com/" for the mega drive one, although you'll need to use a reseller for paypal payment
I think i might go this way so it plays on the original hardware. Can i ask did you get your powerpack from retrozone? I see they are sold out at the moment will try and get the megadrive one too

I did, but I had a 3 week wait
1 week for processing
2 weeks in the shipping and customs
Dingoo is good, controls are very similar to the DS layout and size, TV out is good for a quick blast but not for a prolonged session. Unless your after the new Dingoo A330 with the Wireless controller
Original Xboxs are dirt cheap these days and will emulate pretty much anything up to the PS1. Might be a cheaper route if you wanted. Course you'd need to do a bit of work unless you found a modded one but it's not that difficult.
