Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I know a Sorcer Striker sold here recently for 700 euro and pretty sure I had seen similar prices for Mahou Daisakusen before. Not really sure how much the box adds though. I'd potentially be interested if you're looking to sell.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
So after spending an ungodly amount of money I don't have over the last couple of years, I need to recoup some.
I'm not certain I'm selling all of it, as I bought them for a reason, but needs must.
Valuations on the following please?
Can definitely go:-
4 x NOS Wico sticks
Bought them thinking I might need them for a refurb on a cab. I did not...

Internal step down. (240v - > 110V)

This was removed from my U4.
Works perfectly, but for full disclosure, it was causing screen wobble on the cab. Should be fine if positioned correctly or shielded of course, but I opted for an external Airlink.
It's also bloody heavy, so postage might make it a ball ache anyway.
Can probably go:-
Konami Hyper Olympic, with JAMMA adapter by Kold (viewtopic.php?f=36&t=38245&hilit=jamma+adapter)

Reason for likely sale is that as cool as this game is, it's not one that has huge sentimental value to me, and frankly I need the cash.
Waku Waku 7 (MVS). Shock box with sleeve and a repro mini marquee from Arcade Art Shop.
(Original PCBs of course!! No boot's in the Beans house!!)

Reason for possible sale is same as above.
Knights of Valour: The Seven Spirits (AW).
Shock box and printed sleeve, plus I chucked some foam in there to make it nice and cosy. (Original PCB of course. Seriously, Beans does not do boots!)

Only a possible sale, same as Waku Waku 7 above.
Unlikely to go, but let's see:-
Snow Bros dedicated cab.
Magnificent cab, bought from UKVAC. It's immaculate. The screen is superb (doesn't photograph well, but trust me, the screen is pin sharp and very pretty! Feel free to come play it first!!).
I bought it intending to 1cc it and move it on. Life got in the way, but it actually looks pretty cool in the living room, so it's stayed there.

Only issue at all with this cab is the damage on the right hand side as pictured.
Still running on old 10p's too!
Reason for possible sale is simply that it's the fourth cab I have in a three bed house. It's dedicated, so less versatile than the others I have, and I bought another Snow Bros PCB so that if I do move it on, I can still chase that 1cc!
Almost certainly will not go:-
The big boy Electrocoin MVS 'Arcade'
I've spend so much time, effort, and cash on this bad boy I can't tell you. I absolutely love it too.
Thread on the good, the bad and the ugly of it here:- viewtopic.php?f=6&t=43041

It's currently a dedicated Metal Slug cab with all six slugs installed (NOT for sale with it!!).
It has new and working EL panels. New and working memory card reader.
Monitor chasis and PSU serviced.
It's got nice modern controls in the CP (personal preference, but I much prefer it to the OG leaf switch stuff).
Reason for (increasingly unlikely as I type this!) sale is simply that it's an MVS cab, and I have a U4 as well. Having two MVS cabs makes little sense.
Disclaimer: I'm sure I'll get a bunch of PMs with offers, and that's great, but please don't be offended if I choose to wait and see what the general concensus is on value before I make any decisions. Also, please remember that I haven't decided this stuff is going for definite.

CPS2 multi went on Ukvac/Facebook for £795 inc last week whether that’s the going rate or not tho I’m not sure.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
In addition to the above, another ‘possible’ but I’m undecided…
Cyvern. With motherboard. Original, not a conversion. Not even an “original conversion” as I’ve seen some advertised (what?!?).
I’d like to keep/play this, but you can’t play them all and if the valuation is right I might let it go…

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I'd say your Waku Waku 7 is £200 or the best part it. I bought it last year for 18,000 JPY + the rest. Probably came to about £160 with all the fees, and I thought that was pretty good compared to ebay, which appears to get £200+ for it.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I'm thinking of letting some games go and I would like to know what a reasonable price would be for:
- Nightslashers (Jp), it has a problem with the music where it doesn't play the higher sounds. Apart from that it runs normally.
- Vasara 2 (Jp) with some original art.
- Gigawing (Jp) running on battery with some original art.
