Which region is Gunforce and Sexy Parodius? Is Light Bringer the F3 red cart conversion or the big PCB with daughter board?

Gunforce is US (if my memory is right !)
Sexy Parodius is Japanese version

Light Bringer is original Japanese (it's the big PCB with daughter board, not a cart)

CPS1 conversions (A board included) are available on AliExpress for about £90 (I paid £130 with fast shipping and tax but I could have saved on both with better planning).

I'd guess people might pay a bit more locally though (looks like they get flipped on ebay for £250).

In 'New Version' you also have an extra life; your dragon is faster/less sluggish; and, supposedly, your hitbox is very slightly smaller (although this must be fairly marginal).

'Old Version', meanwhile, has a short interlude at the start of level 1, which is missing in 'New Version' - I've always quite liked this, for whatever reason.

Overall, 'New Version' is almost certainly the one you want. If all the ROMs are original, 'New' usually sells for more (at least in Japan). But it's just two EPROMs if you want to swap between versions...

That's USD as well. I think it's likely more rare in Europe and Japan.

I bought the very same Jp version from Darksoft, less than 2 years ago, for about 180-190 euro + shipping IIRC.

This might have been on the low side, and it was in 2020, but does anyone have any recent actual transaction price in mind?

I traded a Gamshara for a Japanese Raiden DX.

Raiden DX seems to have gone up in price the last 2 years if you have the original large board with good sound. And especially in asia.
The smaller "new" boards are still 200 euro I believe, but with worse and missing sound even.
