NSM "Europlay II" cab (Germany), visibly a Tecmo "Urban" clone with Tecmo "Sound Lava Economy" elements blended in as well :

top pic shows a panel with a similar panel art style as the original tecmo urban, very taito darius-style imho.

Do these SNK cabs even have a product name? (from Tangram Q59 flyer)
All I see is the left one is coined as "upright" and right one "table type"; left one seems like a kissing cousin of Jaleco LoPro cab.

CAPCOM Trojan demoed on Taito cab in 1986 (undisclosed cab model name).
I added this pic to the wiki btw.
Cab looks like a Taito VS, but the panel is different, so either a proto or a 1p special panel...
Anyone seen this variant?

Image
update ..I think the above proto cab by Daisho Shokai may have been a proto NEO 50 cab for SNK : at AOU93 "TENGA 50" cabs (partial name, I can't see above the smaller wording due to the size of the picture) were demoed at Daisho Shokai's booth and seem exactly the same as the snk one just with alternate graphics & branding (& extremely minor differences, such as the round part bearing the logo above the player). Notice the two cabs closer to the viewer are "TENGA 50" models while the other ones behind are SNK NEO 50 models (given the lateral & rear graphics visible on the pic despite the low res!).
Image
NEO 50 for the sake of comparison :

"Tenga" and "Tachi-Tenga" cabs are presumably from Densha Daisho unless I got something wrong, they've been heavily advertized in the early 90s:

- the 2 player only TENGA looks just like the snk proto from 1991 and even bears the same graphics & branding(SNK's King of Monsters 1 or 2 onscreen):
Image
"TACHI-TENGA 4/2" (Konami GI Joe displayed) with quite possibly Sanwa JLW battop joysticks as implies the promo pic & conversion possible from 2p to 4p panel:

I wonder why the japanese 1991 promo article claimed the Tenga proto had an"LCD monitor" though, when it seems to have a projector tpe monitor like other similar cabs.

Doesn't seem to have a lower screen, imho either the projector was lcd based or the japanese journalist got his info mixed up, anyways it wasn't mentioned it was a projector and it clearly was.
More proto stuff see below...

Unreleased upright (unusual) proto red SNK MVS projector cab, demoed in Mexico City around July 1992 at SNK's booth at "MEXPO '92", for the latin american market. Checked wide and large, didn't find anything else related to this proto cab though.
Seems to be in the same vein in terms of style as the other famous SNK MVS "red cabs" intended for overseas market :

Upright version of SNK's "Video Game" cab advertized in 1987 in Japan, with 2 footrests, quite unusual, a bit like Jaleco Pony mkII upright conversion, though I don't see an additional base nor seperation line on the SNK model.
One ad only says it's the game Bermuda Triangle in "candy(cab) version", the second ad features a MSRP. The article doesn't mention the cab's specs.

Mockup ? Or unreleased proto?

SEGA City could be converted to an upright with big old spacers near the base !
Never saw the kit though. (Btw new flyer added to wiki ;) )

Tenga projector cab flexed at AOU91 by Daisho at SNK's booth (see viewtopic.php?p=567481#p567481), was really released and here's finally the flyer :
Image

flyer claims :
-the image is so vivid and clear that you won't believe your eyes when you'll realize it's a projector monitor
-you'll double or even triple your income with said cab

Apparently, according to japanese sources tracing the history of SEGA Megalo series cabs, it was instead Daisho Shokai who was "the first company to propose 50 inch projector cabs", considered uncommon at first when demoed at conventions but that were appreciated by versus fighting players . It is implied this occured just when Capcom released SFII in 91.

So the AOU91 demo could be one of if not the first projector cab demo for Daisho Shokai.

Sunsoft has 1 poor old cab in the wiki, I guess Daisho is worth adding to the list even if only around 3 models and a rebranded one are known.

Thanks!

SNK advertized the "Miny Upright" in 1981 (and possibly even before), but it's unclear why they showcased two obviously different cabs under the same name, unless I missed out on something:
