They're at home! :P

Also, if I can get the plastic ones I'll need exact diameter, none of this stretchy rubber nonsense.

I have just measured the inside of a white plastic ferrule and I make it 19mm.

Here is a close up of the fabric used.

Not bloody doing them again :awe:

You got me thinking its the wrong material now

meh **** it.
Amazing use of personal accountability there budski. :palm:

Still, I think you did a good job. I still need to recover the last of mine then I'll likely have one for sale.

Think I've found a UK source for (near) authentic ferrules. Placed an order, will report back if they're correct.

 Fair enough.

I guess I may have mislead poor Kern by erroneously wroting "crushed velour" instead of... uhm... velour. Still though, common sense and using your fricking eyes would help... :shifty:

I really should have gotten a couple of those stools from Japan before I left. The ones I have now are a pain in the ****. No pun intended. ;)

:palm: They've sent me black ones, rather than the clearly stated on the order "white" ones.

While I get this sorted out, I'm pleased to announce that they're good. Not a match for the original heavy duty ones, these are smaller (approximately half the bulk) and more subtle than the rubber ones available on eBay.

:palm: on the colour mix up

If it widens the ferrules available to you, 3/4" is 19.05mm which would fit.

I know this :D

The imperial sizes are actually more limited! It's the colour that's the problem.
