Every other week there seems to be 95mb & they always try to sneek quicktime in with it.
If there UI / design / quality of materials wasn’t as nice they would **** me off.

Thanks for asking what my topic will be...
Anyway, no, I won't do that as I don't want to lecture with a hard-on pointing towards the crowd

Topic I picked was the Videogame Crash of 1983/84...
Went so and so - I could punch myself in the face for spending only 2 days on it while most others spent about 2 or 3 weeks on theirs - I am so lazy!

Looking != pro. When I used to do the same thing (retail repair) we got masses of extra work purely because the others in town did shocking jobs, even though they were in a better place with a pro looking setup.

I sat in front of my laptop's screen last night with a really stupid look on my face while all of a sudden remembering that I don't have ANY backup of my entire DJ mp3 library. Why the stupid look? Well, my hdd just crashed.
I'm currently on my GF's computer. No bookmarks, lot's of Photoshop stuff, all gone.

I feel your pain man, it's happened to me twice. First time nothing was backed up or salvageable, second time the HDD booted up one final time and allowed pretty much all of the files to be copied.

Maybe I'm just lucky. I've had plenty of harddrives die, but never a sudden death. I've always had a chance to plug it into another computer and grab almost everything off. Tbh, I was beginning to wonder if sudden hdd death is a bit of a myth.
...Then again, my Mum's HDD's circuitry blew up once, but I was able to replace it with a circuit board from an identical drive.

Two words second copy, All my work docs get backed up on shut down or you can set it to backup when the files change, It's all done automatically so if your lazy like the rest of us you can set it up and forget
