Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Sticking to my "MVS is vaporware" conclusion until I see compelling evidence otherwise.
Not sure I understand what is taking so long. Maybe they need more money so they keep porting Xenocrisis to everything under the sun in the meantime?

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
They made the game for much more powerful hardware. I wouldn't be surprised if they're having issues getting it running on the Neo. People will also complain if it's scaled down.
That's my guess any way.

Happy to admit when I'm wrong: preorders are now open for the Neo Geo version.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Tempted because this is good on PS4 but I’d like to see the Neo version running first. Is the regular MVS likely to sell out? Also, what’s the deal with big fixes ?

Well I'll be damned. If it's still available to preorder next month, I'm jumping on this.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Likewise!
Looks as smooth as on the PS4, soundtrack is massive, it’s designed to be played on a stick and it’s cool to support new games on old hardware.
I’ve been excited for this for ages.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
If you have modern consoles or a PC, it’s available fairly cheaply.
See if you like it.
The Neo Geo options are a bit of an investment, but very cool to have, and a great way to support the dev (same dudes who did Xeno Crisis).
Not confirmed anywhere that I’m aware of, but I understand the game is too big for them to sell the Rom for either of the flash carts (Darksoft or NeoSD), so a physical cart is your only way to run it on real hardware.
I might be lying, but I’m certain I read this somewhere.
I’m a shill for an LE shock box and OST CD anyway

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
I don't know if that's really true, but I wonder if they say that to avoid pirating? I'm so pumped, had the AES preordered for what seems like years...ChrisBEANS wrote: July 17th, 2024, 8:03 pmIf you have modern consoles or a PC, it’s available fairly cheaply.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
My guess is that it's conveniently true. They've taken a long while over the custom PCB and bootleggers will scope it out whatever they say. Xenocrisis is heavily bootlegged so why bother optimising?
I thought I might bite this one but for some reason I had it in my head that it was about £100 cheaper. I'll roll the idea around for a few days

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Same ,thought it was about a 100 cheaper as well .so when seeing 400+euro it's a bit spicy....
They do now have an "EU Store" and it has no mention of customs charges etc on that page but it is mentioned on the uk page (for xenocrisis anyway) so maybe there is no extra charges for us non UK folk buying this time ?

Looks good.
I hope they include an 'ultra easy' dip switch setting, it's a tough game.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
So paying $400+ for a port of a digital game that's been $9.99 in sales because it's on a cart? Bruh moment

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
I think they did raise the price. It was £299 when I pre-ordered on July 4th, 2023.
