I was playing the Road Rash 2 remastered Megadrive Rom on MiSTercade the other day in one of my cabinets and it actually works really well as an arcade game.
Such a great game!!
Ability to fight the cops (odd not to have this in the original?), slight upgrade to all facets of the game, and avoids whatever intangible it is that makes 3 not quite right.
Top ten Mega Drive game, easy.
Wait… not even an edit, I realised before I posted… “remastered”?! I’ll Google

Oh I didn't realised you'd replied to that post!
Yeah there's a remastered rom that smooths out the framerate, and allows you to play CD based music if you have a Mega CD attached, its very impressive.
Parappa the rapper and umjammer lammy would both have made great bemani style arcadegames.
Rtype delta and gradius 5 never hitting the arcades is kinda crazy, maybe something for the EXA team to sink their teeth into?
One of my alltime favourite games is Assault suit valken/cybernator, would love to see something like that in an arcade, imagine it with dynamic difficulty and a risky scoring system, tasty!!

Mega Drive was filled with great coin op style looking games, much more than SNES was. I always thought SNES games were too pretty so to speak. Assault Suit was a great looking game, same with Alien Soldier, also stuff like James Pond, Monster Lair, Castlevania Bloodlines, Bare Knuckle II, Gunstar Heroes, some of these were in arcades as well but impressive versions at home regardless. I had a ball for awhile when I had my scart genny setup I ran most of these games on my cabinet in RGB.
