Downloaded the 1080P 9.2Gb Japanese version of this (with FAN-subs as the original ones are crap) last weekend and its very good indeed - hopefully the English dub will be better than for "presage flower".
Original English subs look like they fed the speech through dragon dictate - lazy & not great.

Really enjoying these from the current seasons viewing:-
  • Dr Stone,
    Cop Craft,
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II (Danmachi II),
GranBelm (Gundam SD with magic girls),
Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka,
    Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator,
    Lord El-Melloi II Case Files.
Most of the rest are either predictable, crap or annoying.
2 * Vewlix Diamond Blacks,2 * Vewlix-F, 1 * Sega Rally 3, 1 * Video Pinball, 1 * DinoKing (JAMMA Converted).

Check out Karakuri Circus on Prime. It's amazing. 36 episodes. Proper adventure from the beginning to the end.

Final episode of Granbelm last night - definite homage to SD-Gundam and Madoka.

First few episodes were a bit meh but once the scene had been set it was darker than expected for a magical girls in mech's anime and the last few episodes were really good.
I'd put it in the top 5 for the current seasons anime (wipes the floor with all the isekai rubbish that's just finishing this week).
I enjoyed "Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?" but had sussed it was his step-sister after 4 episodes (still think his dream at the end of the last episode would have been the perfect ending though).

Looking forwards to the new season that starts next week:-
  • Boku no Hero Academia 4th Season
Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld
    Psycho-Pass 3
Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia
    Assassins Pride
Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru
    High Score Girl II
Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku you desu!
Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne!
    Mairimashita! Iruma-kun
    Val x Love
    Azure Lane
    Beastars
Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2
    Fairy Gone Season 2
    Null Peta
    Africa no Salaryman
2 * Vewlix Diamond Blacks,2 * Vewlix-F, 1 * Sega Rally 3, 1 * Video Pinball, 1 * DinoKing (JAMMA Converted).

Hi everyone, long time no see! I just finished Hi Score Girl on netflix and it reminded me it's been a while since I visited the sites, so here I am.
The show was at times heavy on cringe, but still enjoyable for all the arcade content. The love triangle was hard to watch at parts, but not too excruciating.
All in all it was a fun watch, also saw ShouTime in the credits, that was neat.

I wish the character didn't suck at Donpachi though

Last episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) the other night - if you watched beyond the credits it announced a Movie for the train journey arc.

https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review ... 26/.151673

Also coming soon is an OVA for Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II (Danmachi II) - that just looks pure fanservice.

Last episode of "Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO" tonight - interesting to see what happens...

Had a chance to watch the first few episodes of most of the new seasons Anime, and it's not a great season, only these ones seem any good - the rest are too predictable or dull.

Boku no Hero Academia 4th Season
Assassins Pride
Mairimashita! Iruma-kun (reminds me of "Rosario to Vampire")
Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne! (Make me average)
Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen (Rise of the bookworm)
Bananya (banana cats)

And if you fancy busty yuri-girls - Kandagawa Jet Girls (Uncensored ATX version) or Azur Lane.

I can't believe they're showing "Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin" in a time-slot where the blood has to be white - so I'll wait until an uncensored version is available.

Bought the Manga, All You Need Is Kill last week. The original story to the excellent Edge of Tomorrow. Loved the film so I thought I’d see how different the Manga was.
Loving robots since the 80's.

New series of "High Score Girl" screened on Saturday.

Started where the OVA's left off.

Was a bit disappointed- most was a recap if Season 1, obvious love triangle cliche ending.

English subbed version available for download on the usual sites.

Midnight Eye Goku - 6,5/10
Anime Cyberpunk Noir by the dude who made Cyber City Oedo. Plenty of cool ideas, but everything was done a hundred times better in CCO.

Kids on the Slope - 8,5/10
Wonderful 12 part series that focuses on three teenagers in the 60s who make Jazz together. Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, who made a little known Scifi series called Cowboy Bebop, which is also splendid.
Next up: Terror in Resonance by the same dude.

Uncle from Another World, which is on Netflix, is especially funny if you're also old and play Sega Saturn a lot.

Anime since things turned digital in the early 2000s is mostly uninteresting to me, I can still remember Turn A Gundam being the last series I watched which was also the last cel based Gundam. And anything made past 2010 is mostly giga-tier **** imo., I think I liked Initial D Final Stage, some of those new JoJo seasons and some Dragon Ball Super and that's it. However some classic things have been coming out lately on home video that have me excited because anime preservation is at its peak tech wise. Discotek Media is releasing the Street Fighter II animated film on Ultra HD soon, remastered in 4k from the OCN. Likewise they put out all four Project A-Ko parts remastered in the same way, the first one especially looks excellent. And in the UK soon the Nadia Secret of Bluewater series is getting put on Ultra HD, as did Future Boy Conan recently. Also if you do want some new **** the most recent Dragon Ball Super film is coming to Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and Japanese Atmos. Besides that I got to check out some Dirty Pair Kickstarter Blu ray rips and went through that entire series, very good ****.

As for reading, pretty much have my e-reader loaded with complete rips, did the entire Hokuto no Ken recently, Rurouni Kenshin, Alita, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Beserk, this stuff literally never gets old and always feels fresh. Started to checkout MF Ghost but lost interest, might finish it

Found out that an MF Ghost anime was made late last year, I'm insanely curious now. Anyone see it? First season was 12 eps, for anyone that doesn't know this is the semi-sequel to Initial D.
