Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi guys, I'm not new, because I was registered as "semload". I hadn't connected to the page for a few months.
When I went to log in, my account was inactive and required administrator intervention.
I promptly contacted an administrator, but received no response.
At this point, I signed up again with a new nickname.
So, I repeat, I'm not new but I greet you again.
If an administrator reads this message, it would be nice to have some clarification on my previous profile.
thank you all

We had to force password resets for everybody. Details here: viewtopic.php?p=566746#p566746semload77 wrote: May 7th, 2024, 2:49 pm Hi guys, I'm not new, because I was registered as "semload". I hadn't connected to the page for a few months.

I've forced reactivation of you old account. You should have received an email to set a new password. Let me know if it works and I'll delete the new one.

HI! No, I can't log in. (also because I don't remember the password of the old account).
If I enter my old nickname and ask for the password, I get this message:
"If your account exists, a password reset link was sent to your registered email address. If you do not receive an email, it may be because you are banned, your account is not activated, you have requested multiple password resets within a short time frame, or you are not allowed to change your password. Contact an administrator if any of those reasons apply.

Your email came in 12:30 yesterday, which was a public holiday in the UK. I sent you a new password in response this morning when I saw the message.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
it looks like my account is restricted from viewing attachments until I post something.
nonsensical, but I'll play along.
I live in the central US and repair arcade games for a job. this forum has useful information for that so I signed up.
my most active forum, back when I was still putting effort into porting android to obsolete devices, is xda. after android 8 the required security features like selinux started making it difficult to support older hardware, plus the FCC decommissioning 2g and 3g cell bands made a lot of my older devices only functional on WiFi anyway.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi everyone,
I am on this forum for a few years but I had to redo a new account because I could not connect anymore…
So, I take the opportunity to represent myself: I am Julien, I live in France in Bordeaux and I fall into the meanders of the arcade for about 5 years, I have only one Japanese candy for the moment: a magnificent egret 3 with a Toshiba screen
oriented in tate of course
I am a big fan of shmup and hardly tries to score my favorite games over the years
Kiss to all of you!

Howdy Folks!
I'm Esom, from MN, USA. Once upon a time I was a Soul Calibur professional player. I'm here to search for parts to get my SC2 cabinet up and running.
If you have any leads on a working SC2 ver.d memory card, I'd be most grateful!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello all - I am new here but have been in the hobby for quite a while between pinball and arcade. I appreciate all the great info to be found here and decided it was time to participate! I mostly collect boards when it comes to video arcade games and spend (too much) free time on Cave and Toaplan shooters. Thanks for all the help!

Hi everyone, just got my first Japanese cabinet (a Namco Exceleena) and I'm looking to engage with some people to get it working 100% again! I'm 3D printing some pieces that might be of use to others too.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello all, I'm Andrew 90’s gamer and video arcade veteran (player not maker) based in Berkshire and happy to be here and looking to learn as have a Taito cocktail I purchased 10 years but finally getting the time to start my project finally, also looking at buy a Candy Cab (Astro city, SNG or Mini Cute, Pony or Windy 2 original or reproduction) as finished or to refurbish but no idea where to start on where to buy one and what essentials I need to consider - looked at I oorti g but advised most are fake from China etc (any knowledge on Candy cabs would be great to share or threads anyone can recommend I should read to get my learning up on this space).
Any guidance appreciated as well as any support or learnings I can share then happy to help and support.
