With the completion of a recent Noir purchase and being converted with a PS3... The garagecade has been completed for now - until I get another noir 😂😂

Image
Quite a significant change from when I first posted this...

I've moved one astro city, the Naomi Universal and Naomi Universal clone, but have procured 3x blast cities (sold 1) another noir and 2x NNCs

A lot has changed since the initial post.

The most recent change is I sold Time Crisis, got my grail point blank cab that I've been working on it the last couple of months and it's now taken over TC1's spot.

I also acquired an OR2 cab last year which took over my Frankenstein Sega Rally/Daytona cab.

The cherry on top for me is the Taito Station LED sign.

Determined to get them up without stripping (insert lazy gif) aero should be ok but may need more breathers and mt-8 no idea as i have no gauge on what it weights will try it and see , might be an issue with as initial d will need to be stripped into a 1000ps or ill just sell it off :( :wtf:

one positive is I've had issue with back and leg for a while and my right quad has had no feeling for the last few months so who'd have thought pulling 100+kgs cab up a stairs would help relieve that ! :awe:

Jeez I'm one lazy **** !! although I did have an arm injury so I'm excusing myself !,
moved ---->or more so dragged the aero and mt8( not pictured ) up the stairs the weekend and only 1 cab left to get up stairs ID, I contemplated selling rather than dissemble , I'm hoping with the monitor off I can drag the ID shell up otherwise I might just give up and really sell it, I haven't the appetite to fully dissemble it , its already going to take me a year to put it back together as is !! :P Aero was easier get up than I thought it would be worst so far was centipede
I've also have replacement side stickers for the black base that I got from andygeezer years ago that I could now theoretically put on with a respray :penser:

Well done! My back is aching just looking at that Aero at the top of the stairs.

Any creaking in the joists yet?

Not that I've noticed :silent: im fairly sure I read somewhere circa 150kgs /m is ok upstairs in each room :shifty: still to put the ID up there fully which must be pushing 150+ kgs ,I'm not going to bounce around too much up there though that's for sure ....somehow I thought this was a better idea than putting a treadmill in there

Possible to check that?

I was surprised the Groove Coaster manual notes that it weighs 240KG when fully assembled. Very different cabs but both have a lot of metalwork.

My GC isn't going upstairs anyway.

Hopefully my edit makes more sense.

For a while I had Street Fighter 2 in one plugged to a socket timer and set to wake me up. Thinking of connecting the timer up to all seven cabs and onsetting a heart attack to a 6am NeoGeo megajingle.

Yeah sounds about similar tbh ,manual has the twin listed weight when I checked can't remember if hand but not far of that gc listing .... But I reckon with topper removed coin tower removed I might save about 20 -30kgs ,it going in a corner that is pretty well sturdy (I hope) so should be good and it spreads the weight over 2m probably , :shifty: id say looking at that your pic we have similar weights up there .I'm now realizing I should have painted the room beforehand 😔

Both Joe and I are indeed too sexy for our shirts.

You might say, so sexy it hurts.
