I'd like to see the reaction of some of the Taito engineers that worked on design and tooling for this cabinet back in the day if they saw the restoration log from initial state to the condition the cabs are in now.

What are the dimensions of the cab?

Maybe add to the wiki?

It's stated in the flyer:

If I remember correctly moshpit already contacted
TAITO. Unfortunately they don't know anything about the cabinet. :(

Didn't Mosh get one guy that offered an exceptionally overpriced manual at point?

yes. taitotech themselves. they made up some fantasy charges instead of just saying: nah, sorry can't be bothered to go through the archives, scan it, print it, staple it, put it in an envelope and send it to effn germany :awe:

The people that worked on it are most likely long retired by now.

Man, that is sweeeeeet! Great job!

Question - is the button layout the original configuration? I assume it is, but it's interesting that it has the American style linear layout, rather than the Japanese style curved layout. One more thing making this beautiful cab very unique.

The original layout was 6 buttons, but since the MT-8 uses the same panel as the Canary - and moshpit coincidentally had a nos 12 button Canary panel - we thought it might be the best to go for 12 button panels.

Here's one of the original panels (somebody drilled two more buttons in):
