Re: Lupin III - The shooting
If someone can explain to me how to do this I'd be grateful, Im eyeing up Lupin the Typing at the moment....andygeezer wrote:You can easily hook up Dreamcast keyboards, so basically you just need N1 setup (GD-ROM as well for Lupin), I/O board, 31K monitor and some DC keyboards..
The typing games aren't that good though, who wants to type, we do too much of that on here!
edit: I've been informed by the seller of the game what the deal is and I'm awaiting a further reply with additional details

You've never watched the tv show or read the manga then I assume?andygeezer wrote:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=G93BuURpDQk
Dunno if this happens or I dreamt it..
When game over occurs, a boxing glove on a spring, comes out of some girl sitting on a bed and knocks Lupin out.. weird..

Re: Lupin III - The shooting
I never have. ive been recomended it but have no idea where to start
there's got to be about 140+ episodes and then theres some movies which slot in there somewhere
if some one put them in order for me I would watch them for sure

Re: Lupin III - The shooting
There is 26 eps of the early 70s series, 155eps of the late 70s series, and 50 or so of the early 80s series, 3-5 theatrical movies and there has been a tv movie every summer since the early 90s. However there is no need to watch them in any specific order as each episode or movie is usually it's own story.
I'll have a look for the torrents when I get home, the first series and the first 70eps of the second have been released with English subs
Fact: around half of the first series was directed by Hayao Miyazaki

Re: Lupin III - The shooting
The lupin discs might be here next week, hopefully, otherwise next year
IF they arrive next week, UK people are lucky as there is enough time for delivery, Europe maybe, USA sadly not unless FedEx'd.

Re: Lupin III - The shooting
I'd really like to know how to get something other then the bad ending for "The Typing". All I can work out is that you have to type the right answer to 4 questions. Unfortunately as it's all in japanese, I've no idea how to do it!

I know on the shooting, when fighting the old hag..
You must shoot her in the head exactly at 0.00

Re: Lupin III - The shooting
It would be interesting to compare the differences between the two games, from what I can gather either Shooting has more levels, or typing replaces some of them. I was planning to youtube a playthrough, although I've only recorded the first level so far (and not uploaded it yet).
Obviously due to their relatively obscurity , theres no english information of any use. Shame really as i'd improve the wikipedia entry for the Lupin games if there was reliable sources
edit: seems shooting has 15 levels? Typing is only 10 (at least on normal difficulty)
