Re: Members Cabs...
Currently in my possession:
Sega New Astro City (X2, both are vert now)

Sega Blast City (hires only)

------------------------------------------------------
Previous Cabs I owned (and miss
):
Super Neo 29 (my first cab from loopyeddie)

Sega Aero City (restoration project)

Neo 29 (never really cared much for this cabinets design to be honest)

Not sure if I am staying at 3. I have room for another one and I do like things to match so possibly another Blast in the future?

As I've said over at NG.com Dubs, I love the setup you have going there. That Blast City looks fantastic, I definitely have to add one of those to my list.
I have to ask, where did you get those stools from?

I got the gray one from Valgar (shmups) and the two red ones on the last SGO via Oxtsu. They are so worth the money spent. Had I known I was getting the Blast, I would have picked up 2 more.

There's an east coast candy cab buy going on right now at neo-geo.com. The buyer will be able to get them to Hinton, West Viriginia. Looks like it's about a 3 hour drive from Greensboro.BigBattle wrote:Man...I'm envious. One day I will be able to post a picture up here. Now If I can just get a hands on something in NC...
Linkage. All orders have to be in by this Friday, though.

I'm really sorry for derailing the thread, I'll just wrap up with - Not sure about the real difference in Astro Citys, but Cyberleads might be cheaper because you can't rotate the monitors.Darien wrote:Not to continue an off topic BUUUUT Awwwww MAN! and me with no money... big suprise. What don't I know about Cyberleads? why are they $100 less than an Astro? and is the sound $50 better in a New Astro?

That and it might be dificult to get namco pannels as where the "standard" sega pannel is a peice of **** to get hold of.Blaine wrote:I'm really sorry for derailing the thread, I'll just wrap up with - Not sure about the real difference in Astro Citys, but Cyberleads might be cheaper because you can't rotate the monitors.Darien wrote:Not to continue an off topic BUUUUT Awwwww MAN! and me with no money... big suprise. No **** joke on the namco panels. I just drove 200 miles and dropped HUGE amounts of money all said and done for a non-mint exceleena red control panel. Had I not found one in the states, I would have been paying for a complete cab in JP, and tone would have sent me the CP.
If the namco is complete, and nice, it wouldn't be a bad thing...but, if it shows up screwy....you're gonna be in for some heartache. I'd go w/ a sega.
