I much prefer the first version, looks a bit like a PCE.

The LCD add on for th V2 does look pretty cool though..makes it look a bit like a 90s laptop.

Honestly as someone who now has a Mister with a real DE10 and a second MiSTer using the MiSTer PI clone, I really don't see any reason not to go with the clone. Save your cash.

https://retroremake.co/collections/all

Clones are in stock.

Only as a bundle* with stuff I didn't want but I ordered anyway as it's not easy to be right place right time to buy these.

*including soldered 128MB SDram so nice value overall.

Shame the bundle makes the price just £5 over the magical tax sidestep zone.

Sold out already :(

I will be going for the UK designed MultiSystem 2 in any case.

Hideous as it is, it’ll be hidden away, so no big deal.

The MiSTercade (by way of being JAMMA) is mono and that’s not ideal for things like the PSX core, so will be cool to have an analogue MultiSystem for a CRT, and I’ll keep the ‘Cade’ for use in a cab.
I know it’s not exactly the same as an OG PCB, but my expensive PCB days are over and it’ll be cool to have Bakraid and Garegga on a cab
