Is the pinout the same on the Naomi/Triforce/Chihiro regarding the emulator cable?

Pinout is different for Naomi and Chihiro/Triforce so you'll get 2 cables in the post

Yesterday I finally decided to give this thing a go. I bought a WiFi dongle for may Pi2, but no network appears when I plug my Pi. Any idea why this could be? Im wondering if I should just toss my Pi2 and go for a 3...

I was just thinking... for the trasnsfergame.exe, you need to change the IP and mask for the Naomi, 192.168.1.2 and 255.255.255.0 if I remember correctly, is this the case for Piforce Web?


Another thing I'm read in neogeo forums is that there are two different pics, one for CF and another for netboot, I might be having the CF one but not sure why it works on PC and not on RPi...

That's the correct IP address for the Pi image, I use a zero pic in my Netdimm, haven't tried booting it without to see what happens

Ok, I finally got it working, seems like you need a higher firm version for PI net booting. This piforce web thing is amazing. No need for a PC next to the cab!

Hi to all, i've downloaded the last version of this distro (1.2)

i've a sega naomi 2 with netdimm but i'm not sure about the 0 pic, because seems not work well (i've received the chip "to test") maybe is not wrote correctly.

Is possible have a distro version with the python script integrated? Just to bypass the 0 pic malfuncion? I have a lot of difficult to find a 0 pic working

Will be getting stuck into this magical world in the next few months whenever I source a Naomi cab. I look forward to being immensely confused.

Bit of a random question but as a **** Mac user for the past decade I’ll have to buy some form of windows unit for net booting. Does anyone have any recommendations of a cheap laptop / notebook that would do the job? Or will any old lump suffice?

You can netboot from a pi these days, pretty sure of that. Or just a big hooferin' PC and emulate the lot...

(avoids the incoming pitchforks and flaming arrows....)

You can netboot from Windows or a Pi, emulation of Naomi on a PC can be a pain to set up, drop me a pm when you're ready and I'll put a Pi netbooter together for you

i'm trying to use piforceweb with my new chihiro type 3 and found that it needs a specific security chip , despite the fact that if someone has one to sell i will be really happy to buy it, is there any way to make the games run without the pic?
