ah, i thought you were just loaning it, which is why you were caining it every night :geek:

yeah, stage 5 is rough :| i really doubt the 360 port will bring the price down, or at least not significantly. don't sell it if you'll regret it later dude

ta yosia i actually did it on saturday morning :awe:

sheer persistence will eventually get you through as long as you work out a bomb strategy for 5..

i started counting my credits on the counter a week into playing and the final total was 1294 :wtf:
i'd say over 700 were first level throwaways tho

First up massive congrats. Is that best 1-ALL yet for you?

What are you thinking of going for next, DOJ 1-ALL :) I don't think I've put 1200 credits into any shmup, I might be close with ESP Rade. The 1cc on rade was my crowning moment. Years of of on/off playing before I finally cracked it.

Second up no sell! No Sell!! NO SELL! I'm kidding it you are done with it, then it might be worth while cashing in & buying another couple of games. Ibara being one of them ;) I'm happy to do a swap for MMP btw :)

thanks mark .. i reckon it probbly is the 1cc i'm most proud of. i just found it to be real fun to play (if a bit hard on your heart rate)and the type of game where intense practise pays off.if i left it a few days i found i was having to play catchup to get where i was so i just kept playing every day even if i was having an off day. credit feeding the last level every phail credit for the last week or so helped me immensly and without doing that there's no way i would of beat that last boss first time.

i've moved onto esprade again and am just credit feeding mrs garra at the min.. think i pretty much got her down now just need a good run to get it all down in one.

i'm very much up for a trade for some muchi pork btw!! :) i'll give you a p.m in a bit!!

I've started to credit feed L5 in games now. As you say you it's near impossible to beat the final boss first time you get there on a good run.

Well need to meet up so I can see your mad skilz in action :)

This Ketsui game is easy pffft. I should have beat the L4 boss on this run :(

Markedkiller78 - 45,265,364 - 1-4 - Panzer Jager

Level 4 is causing me some serious greif. There are too many of thos big ships towards the end. Made some solid progress since Monday though :awe:

Cheers lads :awe:

It's a weird game. On monday I wanted to pull my hair out, kick the cab, throw the pcb out the window & also have "just 1 more go"

Lets see if I can clear Level 4 without 6 bombs / 4 lives in a months time :awe:

The boss fights, whilst tricky, are not as tough as some in level parts. I'm gonna clock this bitch. I must be getting better :awe:

It's looking that way. :awe:

If it makes you feel better the only reason I didn't start a DOJ thread is because your score was around 100 times higher than mine.

i wouldn't say it's worth getting rid of your other boards for, but is very good. you should buy it, and then you can get a top hat avatar and roll in mah crew :awe:
