Night aswell import one from jp its much cheques even with airmail :p
The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

Cave goes down, Capcom goes up.
It's all good though cos I'm never selling my SSF2X no matter how much it's worth.

Re: SSF2T / 2X
Are you talking about the west coast USA? Tons of people play ST in Seattle and Portland, and in fact I am running a major 2 day tournament featuring arcade ST in candy cabs in May in U-district in Seattle. Checkout seattleretro.org if you are interested.kazuo wrote:No one plays original ST on the West Coast.
If they did, I'd probably buy it...
We had an arcade that had ST and we had 10-15 regulars playing ALL DAY on saturdays, but now the owner is looking for a new spot to open again, but ST in Seattle does very well... We have at least 4 people with candies+ST boards.

Yeah, definitely. It's funny that fighting games don't often carry particularly high values (none really that I can think of anyway, brand new stuff excluded of course.)kernow wrote:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

For some games that's pretty expensive. I certainly wouldn't spend ~£40 getting couple of EPROMs erased and reprogrammed.

Re: SSF2T / 2X
It's pretty crazy. Especially since I sold one recently for about £60 (thinking I can always buy another one back for cheap).
A factor may be that un-phoenixed CPS2 boards get rarer every year.
To be honest though, I always thought SSF2T/X was too cheap.

Of course. Just package it well, don't want it exploding in transit, would be such a terrible waste.yosai wrote:Tamworth is quite a trek... Ok to send a can in the post?

I thinks Richy's 2X will end up finishing at about £120-£130 but who knows.

Yeah, haven't discussed it here since people get a bit **** about CPS2 stuff for whatever reason, but as someone else mentioned it...tony starks wrote:Idc is that you on Ebay with the phoenix ish?
Figured that since I can make my own phoenix sets (sans region selection menu, which I dislike), may as well take a punt. As I said above, it's not really something that's aimed at the guys on here though.

Re: SSF2T / 2X
Sounds like I recently hit the jackpot. I picked up a SSF2T (original US Blue Board) for £55, got it shipped with the mobo for £70. Its crazy that they are going for that money on eBay!pubjoe wrote:It's pretty crazy. Especially since I sold one recently for about £60 (thinking I can always buy another one back for cheap).

I got my 2X for around the same price 2 years ago

Well, one of my two boards will be up for sale shortly....
One is a SSF2T and the other is a Phoenixed SSF2T. (both blue boards)
Just not sure which one to sell!
Suppose I should just put them up for the same price - first choice - first come - first served - remaining board stays with me!
