Oh Kerns... I feel with you! Hopefully that Ebay stapler will do - maybe you need an Überstapler?
Anyway, had to lol at Überwood...
Überwood... most likely imported from Germany and the remains of secret Nazi engineering...
Also got a nice slogan idea: "Got wood?" "ÜBERWOOD!"

Hopefully you will be ok, My stoolskernow wrote:When I tried with the heavy duty stapler earlier before taking it back, went in just fine!
I only cut out a piece of MDF because I had some kicking about from an E2 PCB wood.
But yeah if you're right when my new stapler comes in a week or so, I'll have to make some out of ply instead

Well done so far, but if you don't countersink the threads, you might feel them sitting on 'em - potential fail warning!

New tops for both, its double the thickness of the old wood but thats no bad thing really

The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

Looking good so far sweetie. The wood cutting is much neater than I could have done.
They'll look much better without the man-gravy stained velour they used to have.

Re: Arcade Stool Resto
I considered going for the Japanese stools but as you pointed out they cost a lot of money to import and they aren't really worth anything like £50 each, in any condition. Looks like you're going a good job on these though, should come out great!
