Hello everyone! this is my very fisrt post on Arcade Otaku.even tough i peek these foruns once in a while, i´ve never felt the need to register...until NOW.
i register becouse i need some help and maybe people here could help me.
I´m a huge NeoGeo fan (i´m registered on Neo-geo.com) and videogame culture in general.Specially arcades,where i´ve spent a huge portion of my youth.
anyway i was wondering if someone could give me some info on the arcades aspect.
i´m about to travell to Hong-kong.It´s my second time there,i´ll stay for a full month and i´m parting from Portugal January 7th.
I´m travelling there (and Macau)for some prefessional reasons. And while i´m there,i want to shoot a "film" relating the city and the arcade secne.jumping from HK and Macau. I work in cinema for the last 10 years.I´m a colorist with a vast experience in movie,commercials and docummentires.
i was wondering if someone in Aracade Otaku that knows HK and the arcades there could help me,With info on where they are, from the most obscure to the most logical.any kind of event,store,person,anything.
If theres someone here that could contribute with info or some kind of feedback i would be very much appreciated.
i´m doing this project with afriend of mine.were gonna do it no matter what but the better we know the best and can make us gain some valuable time.

Wow, didn't know this place existed until I was directed here by a fella off ntscuk forums. Love old school shut em ups particularly and spent many an hour in the arcades in Seaton Carew (Near Hartlepool), still a few old machines going actually if anyones in the area.
