Not that I don't value my original carts/CDs (Warzard! :D), but I'd be pretty excited for a flash based solution w/ every CD image onboard to replace the CD-ROM drive and a hacked Key cart for an all-in-one solid state CPS3 setup.

I suspect that that might not happen now though, since many will no doubt see hacked images that run with a zombie 2I cart as the solution. :(
Now cps3 will go to ****. Just like any other system. Oh well I am sure those kiddies will be happy.

CPS3 has been out of production for 10+years, Capcom don't revive anything other than JPN region carts. The positives here far outweigh the negatives here.

Its not that, just the stupid behaviour in this scene which **** me off. These freeloaders offer nothing or contribute nothing. Just leads to more lame questions etc.

So question is will sf3 with 2i cart be allowed to be sold here??

Good question. I guess a battery-less 2i Cart is ok, but it's up to the buyer what they do with it. Of course then we end up with a lot of reading between the lines and private messages, but that already happens with Type-X sales - which is a bigger evil.

No. I imagine people will sell a 2i kit with extra ram though.

If someone starts a thread saying

"I have a battery-less 2i cart,
a motherboard with extra ram,
Oh and also this 3s CD."

All items are fine on the rules but it's obvious there'll be some discreet PMs going back and forth.

Personally that wouldn't bother me*. As I say it already happens with Type-X for example. Still, it's not that simple a question, unless I'm missing something.

* You still have to buy a full original CPS3 setup. The amount of people that have been **** by this emo hardware, it isn't funny. If you wanted to be a total purist, you would just let them die, as that's what Capcom wants.

CPS3, the panda of the arcade world. It wants to die, its creator wants it to die, yet **** like us force the thing to live.

There will be more, but not for a little while.
Any news regarding CPS2 rom-sets?

Still no. There is no release schedule, nor is there a list of games that we want to do as such.

They pretty much get done whenever we feel like it and/or have time.

No worries, I think the guys were just poking fun, insinuating that the offer of sexual favours might prompt further ROM decryption. :hinthint:

No need for that though. For now, just hypothetically of course, with no promises or anything... If we were to decrypt another game some time soon, which game would you like to see? Specify a region and revision date too...

Well, most of the games I worked with were because I like it (Nanairo Dreams, Ultimate Ecology, Vampire Hunter, Vampire Savior 1 and 2), because I have the board here and it was suicided (SFZero 3, SF Zero 2 Alpha, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter) or because people requested decryption (All Mitchell games, Rockman Power Battle).

So unless a board with some game pops here or people have interest on specific games, I really have nothing to do. Don't you agree ?

I might be slacking, but I am really pleased to see that mr. Darksoft been busy with his CPS3 effort! :awe: :awe: :awe: :awe: :awe: :awe: :awe:

Well, I have a suicided blue AvP, Europe version I guess, but no idea of revision, how can I find out the revision date on a suicided one? I also have SSFII, green region, again no idea of revision date either... I know I could buy the phoenix version for those ... if only they had left the original content alone decrypted, no "phoenix" stuff.
I'd love to see all carts, all regions, all revisions free of suicide battery, but that will probably happen only on my dreams.
Regards!
