i just did another shinorubi run and can confirm that after beating the TLB i get the ALL CLEAR during the stage progress screen but it shows FINAL STAGE during the entering initials, would be better if it also showed the ALL CLEAR, maybe it's an oversight

So with a new TGM confirmed, will it be on the exA, and will it look like / be the old TGM4 that was shown years back now

They don't list Arika on their "partners" page but i guess we'll see between now and march 2025.

Search this thread for Arika. They've been discussed a couple of times.

I went a bit mad with a late night purchase (early birthday present). Got Touhou Dengenki (the jury is still out on this) and (hear me out on this one fellas), I also bought...
Axel City 2!

I fancied a fighting game as it's the one genre missing from my Exa setup. I went with this for a few reasons:
It's genuinely exclusive. No console/Steam/Nesica hack.
I'm a sucker for adding games that suit a CRT.
There seems to be a bit of a buzz about this one on Japanese social media.

And you know what? It's great! It's native 480p and looks fabulous. I can never get decent pics of the NNC monitor but it would look right at home on Naomi or Atomiswave. It's polished, there are a butt-load of characters, 3 game modes including training, which is useful as AI is a decent challenge, and it actually seems to have some depth. It's much more SNK than Capcom in terms of gameplay. Art of Fighting vibes.

Axel City 2 looks awesome! Thanks for the review and summary.

Fixeight EXA LABEL preorders went live today! I'd been saving up for that one! Ships in October... impressions coming when it arrives.

Hi @SuperPang
Do you need any other converter besides a DVI to VGA adapter to play it on your NNC? I don´t remember exactly, but I thought I read somewhere that you can´t use a regular VGA cable with the Universal´s Nanao MS-2932-S. Does the NNC's Tri-Sync have the same issue?
What does it mean for JVS compatibility? USB cable straight into JVS I/O board?

Thanks

The graphics card only has digital video out, in the form of DVI and HDMI, so unlike TX2 for example you need a DVI/HDMI to VGA Digital to Analogue Converter rather than a connector adapter. You can pick these up cheaply on Amazon. There's a dip switch on the motherboard to fix the output to 480p.

The JVS I/O connects via USB like any other JVS hardware.

The motherboard uses mains power.

Audio output is a 3.5mm jack like any PC so you need a 3.5mm to 2 x RCA adapter.

I really appreciate that this works on 480p CRTs

I still think this platform would be a great place for a proper release of Metal Slug 8.
If they did a LE motherboard like they did with Akai Katana I’d have to get involved.
Plus I’d love to play more of Aka & Blue too. I’ve tried it out briefly, and really enjoyed it.

Tell me more!!

It seems that Black Finger Jet is effectively a spiritual successor to the MS series.
It’s already confirmed for PC etc, so I’m honestly happy with that.
If there’s an official eXa exclusive MS 8 though, I’m in.

Not 100% it’s black finger jet,it does look cool but suffers from modern problems, there a lot of screen to fill, not just visually but gameplay area.Dunno if it comes to exa possible.Think there trying to focus more on exclusives but that dosent count it out,a arcade version is possible!best to join the exa discord and hear things straight from exa, shou
