It does feel like an upcoming Wii U period, but it looks good and I'm sure I'll get one. Especially as it's my birthday a few days after.
Maybe I'll get round to playing all those Switch games, like the Diorama of Zelda games but at 60fps.
It amazes me that the xbox which has to be the most confusing line up ever, doesn't get that rhetoric wheeled out as much as the wii U poo!
Have just placed a pre-order with smyths here ,may cancel still and i'm sure i have loads of insurace to pay in june as well !
<trk>:I remember catching a big fat one and my friend said "throw it back in, that one already tastes like wood"
I get the sentiment, but $80 is ~72eur, is ~159 NLG (pre-euro...). Which is about the same we used to pay for SNES games around here. Also there's been quite massive inflation since they set the Switch price point like 8 years ago
I'm interested to see if any of the Switch 1 games will run at 120fps or 4K on the Switch 2, Mario Kart 8 at 120fps would be very nice.
I'll probably only get Mario Kart at launch, but that alone should keep me busy for ~11 years until the next one comes out lol
yeah i remember paying 60irish punds for snes games ...no wonder I hadnt a lot of games !!! playstation spolied us with platinum games and cheaper games in general back then.

I'm only interested in physicals. Looks like Cyberpunk is one.
My kids play way more DK/Mario adventure games than MK - 3D world being a big favourite. Not having Bananza at launch is putting me off.
i tend to think like that as well and some games are definitely 100% physical only , i like to look at the cases and that but half the time these days the bloody disc or the cart doesn't really hold the game fully or its so broken the update pretty much renders them useless and thats nearly worse.
i may still cancel my preorder but i've given up on xbox and ps for the most part.

I only play digital nowadays, i'm pretty much done with all the clutter and tat of the physicals. The only exception is the games for the kids, because it's just a bit lame to unwrap a piece of paper with a download code under the xmas tree imho. (and birthdays etc etc)
Let's see if i can manage to put in a preorder first before i can get round to thinking about cancelling it
Pre-orders have been in and out of availability at Argos. I just pre-ordered the MKW pack after thinking that I missed it earlier. 5% off if your employer is signed up with Hapi and you don't mind the risk of being stuck with £430 of Argos vouchers.
I suppose they're finally making an actual push to digital. Games have always had RRP parity, which makes physical cheaper when the usual stores knock a tenner off new releases.
At least the Game Share thing is a nice help, especially for families. I bought Mario Kart 8 three **** times.
I like the look of Donkey Kong Bananza, and I really like DK's redesign. He looks more like older Miyamoto drawings, and with the stupid expressions he looks more of the ****/Donkey that he was meant to be.
