Mine left for servicing today, so it’s safe to say the mod will become available the day after I get them back. ‘Tis the way of things.

Who are you guys contacting for service? I messaged support@exa.ac and got a reply asking for serial numbers, but they haven't replied to me for 7 days now. I'd also like to get my games updated and get it all done at once.

like many, I have a dead battery in my exa which is causing excessive load times.

Based on FireHawks photo we now know it's a regular CR2032 non rechargeable which should be good for 10 years, and no need to 'power up' the system every day to keep the battery alive given it's non rechargeable.

Since Exa has a custom designed motherboard i'm guessing something on the system was draining the battery faster than normal, or they were unlucky to have had a faulty batch of CR2032.

Does it needs to be powered on to change? And how much does it cost?

Fwiw PC motherboards all do this if they are not supplied standby power.

The upgrade program for systems will be phased like this:
1. Regular systems
2. Black colored LEs
3. Other colored LEs

1 will start soon while 2 should be available in a couple of months. We have a number of hardware products in manufacturing at the moment like the ARC-32 cabinet, new control panels and more.

Upgrades besides the improved system case include updating a number of internal components which we have silently upgraded for free in any systems sent for servicing in the past. A new firmware version 1.6.1 will also be updated on all systems.

That’s good to hear. The battery issue is no biggie unless you need bookkeeping, so I’m glad I’m not missing any other upgrades by sending now.

I shipped out my system and games this morning, hopefully I can get these cool new system updates performed!

Does anyone know what the difference between Aka & Blue 2023 is compared to the base version of the game? I haven't updated any of my games since I bought them. I'm also not sure if the update turns my base game into the 2023 version.

Drastically reduced input lag and some changes to the copyright screens is all I think.

Has anyone else shipped to the US location in Ohio for service? My exa and games have been sitting waiting for pickup at the PO box and it's making me nervous. Email is a black hole.

I sent something to an unresponsive PO box once, it took 3 months for it to end up back to me, good luck

Shou, can you have someone from your Ohio location go pick up my package from the post office? It's been 10 days since I've sent the tracking info to customer service and they haven't replied to any of my questions regarding repairs and updates.

It's not a good feeling to ship $8500 worth of stuff and then just be ignored.

It's been picked up! I've got SHINORUBI coming in the mail today and I can't wait to play it.
