Thank you! These are my first Cave PCBs, looking to get more in the future for sure.

Feeling so great to play the originals, finally.

I never liked Death smiles or Akai katana.. I played them quite a lot on xbox years ago 'to make sure'... I was certainly not going to pay for the pcb's.
The only hori Cave stg I have is Progear.. Cheap and hits the spot for sure.. A true classic.

Thanks! Definitely, Espgaluda II and Death Smiles will be indeed next purchases! Love Death Smiles on my PS5 and Steam/Steam Deck.

Astrophotography is my first hobby. Hence the books ;)

Thanks, yeah feel so lucky to find these excellent PCBs in such a great condition!

Other genres were stealing my gaming time over the years and astronomy and astrophotography is my other hobby, so no hobby monies left ;) but recently decided to spend the coin and get the arcade titles I want and replay before it’s too late. I grew up playing arcades. Big arcade scene in my highly touristic hometown.

I don't often post about pcb's i buy...but tbh, this one has always been a firm favourite of mine...so in the past i bought it on release on JPN MD, then a little later on...i picked it up on the pc-engine Hu card for a song...think it was £120!!..but these days commands over £600!?... :-o
I never owned the pcb...it was always one i missed ...had Truxton 2 years ago!..but not the original first release..until Hasuki helped me out!..many thanks & a great price too...shame i got stung for £57 on import duty...but hey, its still a bargain!.. :awe:
I was sure i'd not ordered the Arch de Triumph Lego kit!? :eh: :lolno:

Its now inside the Madonna attached directly to Outzone to the right!!
IMG_20240810_163701.jpg
And to the Left we have~ Sorcer Striker, Twin Hawk, Tatsujin 2, Batsugun....

Taking control is a superb Riddled TV jamma switcher...i love this old skool cab...for my old timer STG's!! 8-) 8-)
Tremendous musical scores & nice parallax scrolling...SFX are spot on..plays far better than the cramped home versions..at last my own actual original pcb!..
And for me...this is what its all about....i played this as a kid...but was Truxton...takes me back.

Thanks, i was eager to play it...so today i made that plywood mount for both Tatsujin and Outzone..its in superb nick considering its a 1988 pcb!...bonus the JPN vers too.
All i did was dust it off and clean the edge connector with servisol and cotton buds....never did get chance to remove the tatty label on the central microprocessor
22:12...i'm off to have a few more blasts on this one!.
Btw...someones nicely replaced a Cap to the right side...darker blue one...talking of caps, make sure you check your'e pcb's folks...for leakage/bulging.
I got a DDPDOJ...tEH One inside blue metal case....battery was JUST starting to go furry...so i replaced instantly for the exact same item, also on that particular board i noticed all of the black caps had bust slightly on the weak spots....so i replaced for exact nichicon caps...you simply cannot neglect these old electrical artifacts!
Thought the sound was abit off on that one...once i replaced the caps...it was crystal clear.

Updated my little Taito corner with an Arkanoid flyer, and a Tournament Edition plug 'n' play kit from HSS (thanks to @psykom1 for sorting me out and letting me know)

Unfortunately, I'm still totally and utterly rubbish at it :lolno:

Quoting from another forum:
a spinner works for rotary games, but the rotation just doesn't feel stepped.
