I'll go do some research.
Had a shot of Mario U with 5 players on Sunday, it was a hoot, despite the average age of the 4 main players being about 6 :problem:

It seems Rayman has now been delayed from 1st of March until...... (wait for it).... September! Mainly because it's also now coming to the PS3 and Xbox. Can't say I'm overly amused with this decision.

For all you Wii U owners, something worth getting at a cheap price from Nintendo :)

If anyone does take advantage of that I would be interested to know whether the games run in 60hz or in the ridiculous 50hz format the Wii used.

Apparently we are getting PAL releases in Europe, so 50hz suckness :(

Tank! Tank! Tank! is 'free to play'.

It's a great arcade game and well worth a few goes.

There is a play limit on the Free version of the game of 3 times per day, however, if you buy just one of the DLC's the play limit is removed, so you can play it as much as you want.

I'd suggest buying the My Kong DLC which is on launch offer for £1.59, normally a ridiculous £7.99.

If you plan to buy all the modes and maps it will end up costing you £27.10, so you'd be better picking it up on disk, I think you can pick it up for around £20 most places. but for the likes of me, I was never going to buy it, so I'm happy with the £1.59 stripped down version.

Will try and check out Tank Tank Tank later.

I picked up Nintendo Land for £20 at the weekend.

Initially, I found the robot who explained everything REALLY annoying, especially as you cannot skip half of the tutorials.
The team play levels are all very similar and involve chasing one another, however some of the 1P games are really good which stopped this being resold in 1 day :)

£20 or less with some perseverance, would make this a good purchase given the lack of games on the machine still!

I played on a Wii-U in game yesterday Super Mario - it was ok... About the same as the other mario games which is not bad thing (only played the store demo).

I thought the controller was pretty good showing what was on the screen in the actually controller. However it seemed pointless as I didn't need to look at both.

I might pick one of these systems up when the price is sub £200 for the pro version :-)

I've got in some good Wii-U time with my Son over the last two days.

Tank! Tank! Tank! No depth at all, but a fun arcade game which chucks you straight into colourful action. It makes you feel like you just bought a dreamcast. :awe:

Nintendoland. I like this much more than I thought I would. It's a family game (and therefore more luck than skill based in multiplayer), but a really good one. Far more to it than wii-sports and any other party game, and more fun in my opinion. As cRacKh0rN says, it is actually decent in single player. I love the Donkey Kong maps, and these are a real challenge.

Super Mario Wii Brothers New U. Absolutely brilliant, but more of the same. If you haven't played much of the New Mario series then this is the peak. But it's not exactly a game to showcase a new console with. Still it's nice to finally see Nintendo art in HD, it looks delicious. The nuances in animation are incredible if you look closely. You don't really notice while playing but I'd love to see a slow motion video that follows the action close-up. I want to play more of this one really as I've mostly played the first two games so far.

Skylanders Giants. Pocket money sucking collect-em-up - virtually and physically. My Son absolutely loves it. Nothing much for adult fanboys to see here, but I must admit, the glowy lights on the figures when you put them near the portal peripheral are very cool.

How are you doing on Donkey Kong's Crash Course Chappy? I've completed level 2 (the blue one). Well hard. I cheated at the last bit and did a suicide float to a checkpoint with the slow motion thing.

Donkey Kongs crash course is amaze :awe:

Me and Katie spent most of Saturday night playing that. I'm stuck on the very last section of level 1 just before the finish. I can't quite get down the last two steps. :problem:
