So sorry to hear about Cato and Figaro

RIP

Its really difficult when you have to say goodbye, my thoughts are with you both :)

A few of you know we had to have my little pal Le Ginge put to sleep earlier this year. A few months ago we took in another stray cat. He's a Manx with a big personality called Crump. He was in a really bad way when we took him in he was really thin and had been really badly beaten in a cat fight. He was covered in deep wounds all over his face and body and had a massive gash on his neck. Now he's had the snip, his wounds have healed and he's put on weight he's like a little bowling ball tearing around the house. He's really happy now and my little pal follows me everywhere :)

My daughters have had a rough couple of days, saying their goodbyes, and coping with him being gone. Thank God they have school to think about and cuddling their baby brother. Our young, healthy girl cat helps out too.

Poor things, I hope they are bearing up Emph.

Yes, having other things to think about, school, work etc does help to distract you from your bereavement. Having another cat around is a big help too. One of my cats needed a lot of attention after Le Ginge, he was missing his little companion too.

Kiera cooling off in the local pond. Got the news from the vets today that the lump that has appeared on her back leg is a reoccurrence of the cancerous one she had removed nearly 3 years ago :( .
Back in for more surgery she goes...

Thanks dude, I guess the great thing about animals is they don't give a ****, they are happy just to be near you and eating and going for walks and stuff. She's only 6 (and insured :awe: ) so she'll be getting the surgery done in the royal vet thingy in Edinburgh... Tesco pet insurance will love me  .

Sorry to hear about the cats gents :(

I've a dog with a fat head and weird feet. We got her from the Humane Society when we lived in the Cayman Islands and brought her home with us. She's an idiot. :awe:

How quick is that fella then? I used to live in a 100 years old building, and one night when I was reading in bed, a (size wise) pretty impressive spider came running on the hardwood floor, "hit the brakes" and slid/spun across the floor until finally stopping under by bedside table, James Bond style. I'm usually very afraid of spiders, but the book was compelling and I was kinda tired, so I just looked on for a wee bit before continuing with the book. Next time I looked under the table, he was gone.

Another time, my girlfriend got out of the sofa for a snack, came back and yelled - "what the fuuuuck is that!?" and pointed to a spider the size of my palm right behind me on the wall. I haven't felt an adrenaline rush like that until I cleared ESPGALUDA that first time. I caught it and the next day (in the warm autumn sun) I showed it to a friend who's a photographer. He snapped a couple of pictures (sorry, I didn't get any copies) and that spider's back was packed with young baby spiders. *shudder*

It wasn't Usain Bolt, but the little blighter was still fast enough to make me look like a time-retard playing Bishi Bashi and ending up with an empty glass!

3 - 4 inches, possibly more fully spanned out, which is more than enough to make an unpleasant mess if introduced to my shoe. Would much rather put it outside in one piece tho ;)
