You could also run a 360 in there, or SF4 on a PC

What type of place did you use for the srtipping and powdercoating? An auto painter? Do you have any pics of the one you restored?penrhos wrote:They're a bit rough -but the one I restored from Tony's final Killercabs order wasn't much better.
Strip them down to individual panels, remove any bodged repairs & send all the blue bits off together. Get them sand-blasted back to bare metal and powdercoated a nice dark blue. Then do the same for the white parts.
Do them seperately as it prevents them mixing them up like they did with mine.
CP's are standard Aero fit and there are plenty on YAJ so its probably easier to source replacements from their using SMJ/Celega or akib' shop.
If the worst comes to the worst - stick a big LCD panel and one of those 60-in-1 PCB's into one and sell it on ebay keeping all the internals for the other, That should raise enough funds to pay for the powdercoating.
Thanks for the kind words, Sean. Yeah if you have a cheap pcb Ill take it.maxchainsplendid wrote:Hahaa! Those are so uglyYou have to at least restore one of them fully!
After seeing the amazing restore job on your Uni/Net that you did, taking on the restoration this should be a breeze for you manAnd something as obscure as an Aero table - that will be so worth the effort! So - cosmetics aside, there aren't any missing pieces at least right?
And yeah dude - pleeeease don't use DoDonPachi to test - Hell, if you need a test board, I'm sure I have a Guardians Of The Hood or something you can just have for free
No, the second one doesnt have feet, a control panel box or monitor. I really dont think there is much I can do with it. It does have the monitor bezel that I know some people need. I may just sell off some parts.markedkiller78 wrote:Does the 2nd one have feet? The White leg cover things also look a bit short
26" LCD pannels are dirt cheap. I'd mame the spare wih an LCD. Totally do-able. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on this one
