I'm pretty sure he uses machine translation, which, as you can see, can become quite nonsensical.aryssoR wrote:It's hard to tell what's going on because some of the posts are a random jumble of words

Re: CPS Changer
of course its possible. you don`t even have to mod the changer , just get a jamma expension loom and grab the rgb signal from the loom.
in fact a extra loom is nice because this way you can also play other jamma games , most of them don`t fit under the changer without a loom.
in the end , its nothing more than a supergun. nice for collectors , but thats it.
if anyone is intressted i still have alot of pics from the changers i had in the past , let me know and i`ll post them.

Re: CPS Changer
I think I sold one to you back in march 2006 and the other one december 2006. They were really nice, won't be easy to find them in better condition. It's kinda strange, although I never used them and stopped collecting anyways, looking at those pictures makes me regret my decision to sell them

Re: CPS Changer
Although still not quite finished, I believe this is EASILY THE most comprehensive guide/feature (contains history, personal memories, accurate information, Neo Geo AES & Super Gun comparisons, all CPS hardware info and ownership experience, pictures, videos etc) to Capcom's Power System Changer in English currently out there on the internet:
http://www.JAPJAC (Leading pioneer and expert in the field of Japanese videogame playing, studying & collecting in the U.K. since day one' © 2001. Japan resident & TFP founder.).proboards.com/index.c ... 262&page=1"
It is missing any official, hugely needed, Capcom Japan input though.
My X2 YouTube videos were also the FIRST and are still the highest quality ones out there:
Hardware:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDuQJb-ZSm0"
Game running:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11--f9FnzGE"
I hope you enjoy chaps and if there are any questions, suggestions or feedback then I would love to hear. There is still so much misinformation out there about this system which was something I wanted to change.
Cheers,
JAPJAC (Leading pioneer and expert in the field of Japanese videogame playing, studying & collecting in the U.K. since day one' © 2001. Japan resident & TFP founder.).
P.S.
User aes is a bit of a tinker. He/she posts videos that are clearly fibs on his/her YouTube channel. For example:
'Final Fight CPS Changer'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeJAHu1MUuk"
When in fact it is the Capcom Play System 1 commercial version (and probably emulated at that).
and:
'Capcom Power System Changer Playing an Original CPS II Board'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSKY18unSBQ"
When it seems that he/she doesn't have a true custom Capcom Power System Changer to JAMMA+ (complete with kick harness and test button) loom at all as I do, just a pointless extension loom. No credits are inputted and he/she doesn't show all kicks and punches on both sides working via all the current buttons on the controllers as is possible. The game is just simply running NOT playable as described. I will make a video soon showing this being done properly soon.
His/her online auction here:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Capcom-Power-System- ... 2c51262eee"
States:
'The last on Yahoo Japan a few months ago was sold for 170.000 Yens, around 1.800€ with ships and comisions, without the Capcom Soldier and Accesory, but with CPS Fighter
And the seller only used one pic to sell it!! Here it´s a lot of pics'
He/she fails to mention that that set came with 4 GAMES though and they didn't just use one picture; total balls.
Porkie pies.
User aes missed the boat again as this forum already has a Capcom Power System Changer thread started by me here:
http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic. ... 3888&hilit"
I suspect user aes is a Capcom Power System Changer newbie (hence his/her over excitement/fibs) and I do feel sorry for them because their writings on the subject is basically jibberish (in both languages) in the grand scale of the all important internet speaking English World making it useless. Must be frustrating. However, he/she should be applauded for sharing a huge amount of pictures on-line to be fair.
Still,

Are you sure regarding RGB? Would this work if one is trying to play a native Capcom Power System Changer Dash game as opposed to a JAMMA PCB? To do both I think it would have to be an internal modification.Neo_Arcadia wrote:of course its possible. you don`t even have to mod the changer , just get a jamma expension loom and grab the rgb signal from the loom.

Re: CPS Changer
you are the same on youtube right? you think i´m idiot or something
trying to change a jamma cable of 15€ ( saying me... was make by professional of capcom members !!! XDDDD oh my god )
your PM on youtube
-----
I reckon you basically have an extension harness/loom which is of no real use at all except for what you showed in your video.
However, I will make a proper video showing a Capcom Power System Changer operating CPS-2 perfectly at some point soon.
If you need a harness/loom like mine then PM me and I will send one to you for no £ cost.
Cheers.

my respond

Hello,
I do not need money!
I have something YOU want.
You have something I want.
Let's do business?:
I want:
The BOX with the 2 inside cardboards to the cordless adapter seen here on the right:
http://img29.imagefra.me/img/img29/2/8/ ... c97549.jpg"
I DO NOT need the cordless adapter hardware JUST the box with the 2 inside cardboards.
AND
The user manual seen here on the left:
http://img02.imagefra.me/img/img02/2/10 ... c3a633.jpg"
I DO NOT need the bag or the other items pictured.
IN EXCHANGE for:
My Capcom Power System Changer to full JAMMA harness/loom with test button and kick harness built in. This has been made by a professional Capcom engineer in Japan and is of the highest quality.
AND
I will also send you some of the correct blank internal Japanese parcel documents so you can cover the rips on your Capcom Power System Changer PCB Dash box here:
http://img31.imagefra.me/img/img31/2/8/ ... ee1109.jpg"
Please let me know.
