Re: new aero table
Two probably pretty dumb questions:
-isn´t it pretty uncomfortable to play on a table?
-why were they built like that in first place? I´d imagine they take nearly the same space as a candy. Or did candies evolve from tables?

Re: new aero table
I'll be honest, at first it completly threw me too, I thought it was a bit awquard to play and with the curve of the monitor I was worried (with shooters) you would miss whatever was at the top of the screen, but avoid the hunching and yer fine!

Re: new aero table
The Sega City article on Hard●Candy seems to suggest that the way the monitor is mounted in a candy was meant as a solution to glare problems with a table. The Enigmatic Form wrote:Or did candies evolve from tables?

Re: new aero table
Yes, candies are the japanese evolution of cocktail cabinets. When arcade videogaming hit Japan as Space Invaders was released, there was almost if not only cocktail cabinets out there, they have always been favoured over american style upright cabs, I guess because they simply take up too much (precious japanese) space : ) The Aero Table looks nice, no question, but I just can't get used to cocktail table cabs tough
