I’m glad you got it going. My Windy II died overnight a couple of years ago and it took me that long to find someone who would repair the chassis in Aust. In the interim I tried a MS2931 chassis that I thought was good but it killed my tube with arcing. I’ve now got a new tube and chassis but it was a long road. You mentioned you got a new flyback. Was this one of those questionable ones from Spain that aren’t quite a match for these chassis? Or you found an original one?

It was one of the Spanish bad boys. It’s not perfect for sure, I can’t get it dialled in nearly as well as the last before it died, but there’s a good chance that’s at least in part down to my incompetence.
I understand there ‘may’ be an alternative option at some point in the future but I genuinely don’t know any more than that…
