Alien vs Predator. A city overrun, Aliens being blown away by the arnie lookalike and that sexy chick, and then the predators join the party. Awesome.
Final Fight. Really sets the tone for the game. Plus a very revealing Jessica, at least in the Japanese version.
Daytona - awesome graphical showcase, and who could ever forget that music?
Virtua Fighter 2 - see above!
Street Fighter 2 for the music for me. It reminds me of being a kid and playing it on the Mega Drive (even though the sound on that doesn't compare). Another great one is TMNT, when it plays the theme song it again reminds me of my younger years watching it after school. I can't think of any others that I really like
x 2 Yeah, Virtua Fighter 2 is nice and loud. I like it a lot.
Am I the only one here who often listens to fighting game music to get in a better mood? I'm pretty sure most people here have a favourite theme from a character they can relate to.
Capcom did some really good attract sequences. Garou MOTW gets a mention, probably because I've only bothered to watch it in full quite recently. My all time favourite has to be Daytona though.
Vampire Saviour series is excellent. Pocket Fighter too - I love Felicia's howl. So hard to pick the best of Capcom's fighters.

I've always loved SF2 Ken's stage
One thing I love about game music is that the majority has no lyrics so I can make up my own to suit
Oh, and I only had the KOF rap stuck in my head until around midday. I also resisted air guitar. Just.
Being a Sega driver fan I love most of the Model2/3 stuff like Daytona/Daytona2 through to Naomi drivers like initialD series.
What is particularly special is when you see the spanning attract sequences (when one sequence runs across serveral screens/cabs). I just think this is so cool.
Daytona is great spanning across a few twins as is Scud Race.
At the moment I'm loving my F355 2 attract as it spans across the two screens on the twin
An old school attract that always sticks out in my mind is Operation Wolf. So eighties
Wanted:
Sega Model 3 Emergency Call Ambulance ROM board or complete Step 2 boardset.
I like the Final Fight and Alien vs Predator attract modes where you get the characters' profiles written on screen. In AvP it tells you how to do some moves, too (Shame you have to watch a demonstration and the intro again to get another character's moves instruction.) I think in Knights of the Round there is something simmilar? Just the characters aren't so good.
Tecmo Knight / Wild Fang. Brutal; you want to defeat those brutes.
Metal Slug intro; sadly there's nothing like that in any of the sequels
What I like about the Street Fighter Zero 3 attract mode is it doesn't have the super bars so you can see the stages better.
Dino Rex: fantastic intro
Gun Frontier: sets the epic tone for the game
Metal Black: Guy running down stairs, also very cool
Pulstar: I also like the emergency / running bit in this one
Mad Motor: I like the artwork in the pseudo movie, also the title "font"
Cybattler: can't remember what it was, but I remember it being cool
I like how power instinct II has a easter egg intro if you leave it on for like an hour +. Kurara states the intro a little different.
My picks for best attract mode would be
Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers/Hyper Fighting
X-men Children of the Atom (here comes a new challenger!)
Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
Jojo Venture

Daytona USA
Super Street Fighter II
Street Fighter Zero 3
Honourable mentions to:
Vampire Savior
Dimahoo
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
JoJo's Venture

I don't get why capcom changed the intro from JoJo venture to jojo heritage for the future. The first intro is more hype.
I really love the attract modes of Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Fighter 3. Reminds me of times spent skivving from school and going to Sega Park in Southampton. The Street Fighter Zero series all have awesome attract sequences as well.
I keep trying to get that on ebay but get pipped in the last seconds. It goes for £100+ every time these days.
From what I've played, I came away with the feeling that the core gameplay (and consequently the VS game too) is better than Magical Drop 3 but the presentation and game modes isn't quite up to MD3 (set to Japanese region) standard. Though I haven't played it in single player enough to be sure.
