Re: I've created a Monster!
looks awesome. I see what looks like a mame pc on the inside. As well as a mvs. Wouldn't it make more sense to take out the mvs and just emulate it?

@Drakon, I know that but it was a prestige thing to fit that one in also, most probably it will have a nice new home in the future

Nice work I have a Neo 29 with a one slot, could you possibly tell me the length of the cam lock in your picture above that keeps the control panel locked in position, I need 2 and need to know the length 25mm? 40mm? are they the same as the lock on the money box door?Psykick wrote:

Re: CP Locks
Spotted a couple of cheap ones on ebay the other day. They might still be there. Look for "radial pin lock"thegreathopper wrote:Psykick wrote:They're 22mmthegreathopper wrote:

If your not in a hurry I'm in Lonodon on a course in 3 weeks time - staying in the travellodge opposite the barracks on city street.thegreathopper wrote:Great Thanks for checking now I just need to find a pair of 22mm locks.![]()
is that 22mm from back of lock to start of shaft as I have 4 different lengths?

Re: CP Locks
Hi Penrhos,
Hopefully Psykick will be able to answer the question but I would think the measurement would be 22mm from back of lock to start of shaft, it would be very hard to check as I have both missing and you cannot see in the CP with it in the closed position.
I would be more than happy to buy a pair of these, let me know how much you want.
Thanks Steve

Nice cab, dude! You made a true custom cab, which is very nice to see for a change. I mean, there are more than enough original candy cabs out there, so to see something like your cab is like candy for my eyes.
I know there are quite a few guys who hate the idea of changing something on a cab which isn't original, but hey, they probably also don't like to pimp there cars, nor buy jewellery for there girls. And luckily there are zillions of candy cabs, which will please the original-fethist for years to come.
Have fun with this piece of art and craftmanship.

That does look brilliant - I'd love something like that tbh, so jealous as all hell lol
How does the 360 cope with being in a confined space? Heating / cooling become an issue or are you running a Jasper motherboard rather than the older type?

Thnx a bunch pal, it's definitely more about taste for having this or that, in the end what was important was the fact to get it all done and also to have alternatives to the classic thing, which are seen plenty. This way people can get more out of their cabs and save space and all, this is just a very practical solution tailored with a shiny new jacket.ckong wrote:Nice cab, dude! @Kernow That's the whole thing pal, matter of taste and I respect everybody's as long as it's arcade

@Parris I still don't know why people are starting with this heating issue ( nothing personal ) but every system in there will run one at a time and believe me there is still a whole lot of space for air to flow around. If I do suffer from this issue in the future ( maybe summer ) I will put 2 large fans in the back to suck the heat out through the vents. So this heating thing is really overexaggerated, there are millions of setups in normal households where things are suffering more from this issue than in this cab.
If for some reason I would take out a device it would be because of practical reasons or that it's too cramped, but definitely not for heat issues. I''m working on a little different setup at the moment, but you'll see that in a couple of days
