I am gonna try and get back on this one,
any tips for Original?

1: Don't die. Ever. Each death is a loss of 10 million points.
2: Milk the gold giving plants in Stage 2 for all you can.

I watch as many superplays as I can and try to copy the hell outta what they're doing.

there are no bonuses in Original for however many bombs you have in stock, so my best advice is work out which sections are particularly tricky and plan exactly where you are gonna use your bombs, taking into account you get extra bombs on each level (except stage 1) and can hold a maximum of 6. in total you have potentially 7 bombs to use even on a 1 life clear

You get a different avatar on the highscore listing depending on what side you play the game on, P1 or P2. The joystick on the Player 1 side was a bit dodgy on my mates cab so I switched to the Player 2 side.

... i reached last level with all lives, inclluding the bonus ones, became excited

and then died a lot.

New record though, but not worth posting it ... need 10.000.000 points more at least.
