next!
What a waste.
It should be forbidden to make sequels of 2D games and make them 3D.
Street Fighter IV is not even Street Fighter IV.
It´s Street Fighter EX-IV or something.
Although they could do some huge special moves with Hulk do, like ripping the floor as a projectile, that will be interesting to see.
Nevertheless a definite non-buy. cries.
I played Sengoku Basara X yesterday, the cheap best buy version is out for like 20 euro´s. Loved it.
It's too early to say from the teaser, but this could end up looking nice (note: I'm not auto-biased against 3D). I think SFIV looks ugly, but this could potentially look much nicer, especially since Marvel is involved and they were probably telling Capcom not to make their characters look like ****.
The game won't, however, use the same sort of graphics found in Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV. Instead Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will run on an "advanced version" of MT Framework, the same engine that powers the graphics of Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5.
I just hope they include a 4:3 version since I'll be playing on my cabinet.

I'm pretty much sure you have already started jacking off to this -once again- raped former glorious 2d franchise
you know , if someone would delete all your bash and manure postings you would be back to <100.
you realy remind me of a sad clown.
Sir I am terribly sorry my posts don’t meet your quality standards. I know how important quality is to you. And you love for SFIV prettu much sums it up.

Yes Dave, to be honest I actually have a feeling this could turn out to be a pretty decent game graphics-wise.
The graphics are not just the problem. It´s the style.
Hey let´s comnpare Battle Fantasia with SFIV
Battle Fantasia I would almost dare to say is a 2D game (but with 3D graphics) It plays like a 2D game, fast and very precise and clear.
And then SFIV: what the fuk even happens when you jump? jeeeeez.
If Arc would create MvC3 I would eat up everything I said.
news just in Dante, Felicia, Deadpool and Captain America have been confirmed! OK so the silhouettes were a big give away but capcom has confirmed there in the game now.
I've seen some of the Game Informer screenshots and they look okay... but what really disappoints me is the American comic book style illustrations.
That scares me... I'm not refering to group illustrations by Shinkiro those are great!
^^ fullsize as opposed to in page view gives better impression... presume some of the ott hit impacts are super endings etc.
... It does look better full screen, but they seem at least a polish pass or 2 off the kind of quality we saw in the shader and character work of ssf4. Bg texturing looks flat/wonky in some areas, poses look a little rigid - probably not full animation ... again all wip I'm sure, but I'm almost hoping that they do a borderlands-like-delay-announcement just to change this up a bit; it just looks a little too crass... nearly but not quite there...
I did not even expect it to look this crappy.
I was merely expressing my fears about the playability which will most likely be crap.
I cannot in a million years see this game playing good. I could be wrong offcourse.
This is not MvC3 it is MvC2EX and it looks disgusting.
The Hulk projectile looks awesome and could benefit from being 3D, the rest, is laughable.
This is not what mvc fans wanted. we wanted mvc3, this is not it. please cancel it now.
it looks ridiculous!
crappy
disgusting
laughable
ridiculous!
And NO, please do not start about it being pre production shots and that the finished prouct will look much different. It won´t. this is it!
mvc3 a dream come through? no a nightmare. Still cool that Capcom at least thought about it. thanks C. NExt time perhaps you make it better.
