Hahah, yes good tip Pete, I agree you do grow in to a system, some people call it running in.

Tidal HD sounds very good, I get it free through work luckily..

I have my forever speakers, but the ones I find myself lusting after at the moment are the JBL L100 Classic.

Just look at um.

No place for a second system fortunately.

I want a pair of L100s. I currently have HPM 100s and some HPM 60s which are designed by the same guy and are apparently improved over the L100s but they don't look as cool :awe:

Needs a pair of tobacco-tint specs to go with.

Just finished another set of home-made PTFE interconnects from back around p84. :penser:

You paid an extra £1k for the version with a tonearm and then swapped it out for a better one? :wtf:

Haha. It’s ex-demo (although you wouldn’t know to look at it). Luxman have recently discontinued both models. I’ve had my eye on one for a while and just had to go for it.

I do think the Gyro is better looking but this has it beat on features. I particularly like the stroboscope.
It’s beautifully engineered.

I don’t doubt for a minute that it’s better sounding and featured, but I want to be the ugliest **** in my house
