It's like a bad habit I can't kick. Of course now I have to watch the Rick movies and stick with the series to see if they ever get reunited (if the rest of the original cast hasn't left by then).

BTW, lots of good comedy at the moment but don't overlook Channel 4's Home.

Finished True Detective Season 3..A bit slow for me and this going back and forth between time lines, Amazing job of making Mahershala Ali look older was something else though

Ricky Gervais: After life, funny but truly dark on a subject some of us will in sometime in our lives have to deal with.

I just watched ep3. My prediction was way off, I’ve not got a clue what’s going to happen next.

finally got to watch it late last night /this morning ....around 2.30ish  ..bloody great epsiode although it was too dark /washed out overall if you asked me especially at the start ,dont have sky hd here so dont know if that would have made a difference
I did feel some of it was battle by numbers .i.e the bearded night watch guy (edd?)getting stabbed after saving Sam, and guessed Arya was going to play a big part in the end when they showed how stealthy she was and knew it was going to come into it .Also some of the scenarios played out just too in favour of our main cast ....i wanted deaths lol ,overall still one of the best episodes of tv i've probably watched ,I'm just gutted the night king story is now finished ,as i couldn't give a rats **** about the throne !

Also trying to figure out if the dragons and wolf are dead ?

Nicely put. I watched it late last night and it really was edge of the seat stuff.

I've accepted that GoT isn't the slow burning game of chess it once was and am just enjoying the ride now. Ideally that episode would've been the finale to a penultimate full length season but even HBO have to cap the budget I guess.

I actually look forward to reading any book(s) coming out. I mean, there's lots of stuff in the already finished books that hasn't been in the show that at least I want to see where it goes. If you're looking for a slow burning game of chess, just look at the author for starters. IIRC, even some of the characters still in the show has been killed off in the books, but my memory is hazy. I mean, IT'S BEEN YEARS since the last one.

**** knows. Seems Arya is destined to kill another queen with green eyes but where it goes from there I don't know. Reinforcements from Sansa and Yara still wouldn't put a dent in her army. Wouldn't surprise me if they all die and Sansa rules from the north. The whole thing is a commentary on how power ultimately corrupts everyone.

dont forget gendry, no longer a ****. New Baratheon claim to the throne (with Arya and her new lease for life)
I’m genuinely excited about next weeks ep. I thought it would be all about what they went on to do next, flash forward X years, but now :awe:

I'm sorta half hoping that next episode starts with Varys waking up from a dream (last episode), drenched in sweat.
